I actually bought one when I found it for $16.12 like I mentioned in my post. I ended up returning it after finding numerous reviews about it shattering for no reason.

Minus the dikes I tossed out everything in that kit. The grooved pliers never stayed tight. I could have tack welded the nut but I just didn't find them comfly. I think the new red handle Harbor freight set would be a better choice imo
Thanks for the battery tip! Appreciate it. Found one for like $37 +tax. Store only showed one. I looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it. I then went to the upper slider closest to where the battery should've been and tried to look from under the shelf as well as I could (without getting up there to open the slider) to see what was in there and saw what appeared to be 2 Dewalt batteries. I figured there was a pretty good chance that one of them (if not both) had to be what I was looking for. I asked the tool guy to get something down from the upper slider and of course he wanted to know what it was. I told him and he did his best to take my attention off of my original request and wanted to look in the same places I already had. So we went through that 10 min routine and then he finally said it probably didn't exist and tried to get me to buy one of the 2 packs on sale. I politely declined and asked if he'd take a look in the overhead like I had originally requested and sure enough, 1 of the 2 batteries was the "missing" one.
So I don't know if he knew it was up there and didn't want me to have it or if he was just trying to avoid having to get a ladder and climb up there if possible thinking he knew better or ??? but I do find it interesting that there seems to be PLENTY of items with only 1-2 in stock at full price still sitting out on the shelves but the higher value/more coveted items that are on a deeper than normal clearance are conveniently off the floor and sitting behind closed doors in the overhead.
Anyway, all-in-all it was a successful trip and I got the battery was looking for so thanks.

Found 1 in stock, the only store that had it around here. Checked open stock and asked the tool guy when he came up, Gave me the normal we don't have it deal and walks away. I slide the top stock door open and see it clear as day but can't reach it . Lady working the pro desk yelled over that I couldn't use the ladder as I was moving it so they had too call the guy back over. He wasn't happy. No go on the palm sanders in any stores near me, but they did have the bosch impact from a week or two ago on the clearance rack. Box marked no battery and they still wanted over $70 for it?

I'm used to it. Got one of the 3 amp Dewalt orbital sanders for $17 today (display model) and had to talk to 3 different people in hardware to finally get it.
1: we don't sell display models
2: we're using that as a display for the new model
3: let me check with the manager. (Finally gets the green light). "I would have took it for myself if I knew it was that cheap". No ****, douche bag, now cut the friggin steel cable.

I just picked up some pole barn screws (Hilman calls them tap and seal). They were on clearance for $3.50-5.00 for boxes of 200. I am trying to find them online but I am not having much luck.

Found one at a store 1-1/2 hours away for $40. Ordered it and a couple other items I needed to get it over $50 so with tax I was down to $42 with discount for everything. I have this wing joint I like over that direction so I thought I would load up the dog and make an evening of it. Got a call 20 minutes later they had it ready all but the switch. I said just cancel it all and when I hung up I called the other store across town and cancelled that one.
