I know I am doing something wrong. Is there a way to search all Lowes nation wide for a product? My searches keep searching my local store.

You have to set a store first. Do a search, and it will search nationwide, click the "in stock" tab to filter for only what that store has in stock. Clearance prices are different at every store, so you have to change your store to compare prices

I think he's talking about inventory checker and prices, How some can post it nation wide pretty quickly. Someone had an app to search 50 stores at a time by the sku Numbers I think? I remember trying to download it but could never get it to work on my old pc. and no way in hell it will work with my pos phone. I Can't remember the name of it but pretty sure it was posted in this thread or last years..

Changing from local store to store is how I do it but I know there was a better way posted before.

Got the wire to work for in-store pickup. I only got 5 rolls of 12/2. I'll be able to run a new circuit every 6 feet with a roll left over.

Now if I could find some 10 gauge....

Oh ok I have that app too. To me, it's kind of useless. A lot of the clearance items on the Lowes site are "add item to cart to see price". That inventory checker doesn't pick those ones up

Wife sees one she wants. Is it best to go day after Christmas or wait a few days or week for price to drop?

Usually when I notice Christmas stuff on clearance there it is 75% off and all junk by then.

In my AO Christmas stuff is already 30% off. If you really want the tree you better watch inventory at your store. Day after Christmas would be a good discount at least it has been in years past for us

They are already working up to the 75% off on Xmas stuff. You need to figure out what you'll pay for it and get it or not..if you keep waiting, someone else will probably snap it up. They're walking the supply/demand curve before Christmas now and end up with scraps by the time it actually gets here.

You can try my user script. It knows how to handle those items and shows you the local store price without having to add the item to your cart.

I will probably have some time in 2 weeks to update it work with both the regular site in addition to the mobile site.

I ended up getting my tree on homedepot.com for 75% off/free shipping. Pickings were very slim though. I think I bought it like first week of January. I'm not suggesting you wait though, because you may miss your chance

I picked one of these up when they were changing part numbers for around $40, it's actually a pretty nice box, $90 with a 10% off coupon would be a fair price if you are in need, but nothing to write home about.

$99 is the new regular price so it's not like its a clearance deal.

They still had a healthy stock of wire and fulfilled my order while I waited.

The 'by the foot' Romex was on sale if you buy the whole spool. Might go back and get 500' of 6-3.

Yea that's true if they were made in the USA it would be better, but you can get cheap China ones cheaper with no drilling
