Lowes didn't have much on clearance today. In fact, they don't even have a dedicated clearance section in the store. I did pick up a plastic putty knife set for 59 Cents (Blackhawk) on clearance though. :D

My stores are the same way. I just look up items online to see if there is anything worth getting. Like some other members have said, I never seem to see the real good deals that others see at any of my local stores.

I found a Superior drain tool on clearance yesterday. Saved $9,999.10 on it. :D

Okay, it was marked down to $1 and the employees couldn't figure out what code to use. They somehow priced it at $10k and put in the discount.

Any tips for finding these items on the Lowe's site by browsing? Their site is painful to filter through and just scour for deals.

You are doing a good job so far. Yes, i have noticed Mr. Spin seems to be something of an elemental force of deal finding in nature, a highly unusual human being to find as such, particularly with his cute little girl in his shopping cart with him as he rushes past the store managers with carts full of merchandise.

I legit, do not understand how you walk up to EVEN the self-checkout with boxes and boxes of wrenches that ring up for $0.01 and get away with it...

Even the best "CORPORATE POLICY, YOU GUYS ARE FUDGED" line isn't going to convince people to let you go. Are the self-checkouts never monitored in your area? There is ALWAYS someone there...

I'm right there with you. I've yet to try this but there seems to always be people watching in the self-checkout in my local stores as well.

That was in Watertown Mass. I didn't even go to SCO with these. Went to a regular checkout, showed her one and said I have 25 of them. She saw that they were a penny each and started panicking, called the head cashier over, who says "what do you want me to do about it? They're on sale"

Nice I went to 3 different HDs and they were all still at regular price.

I wish the Lowes in my area had deals like you find, the nailer you got for $5.99 is $59.99 here. wish they would ship those kind of deals
