One of the Lowes employees told me they blow out the special order returns, at least at this one store, but are really slow to discount & give deals on most everything else. She said just ask, usually they will take $5 for $200 lights just to get them gone.
Which is almost opposite of the local HD, which pushes for full retail on their special order returns.

Don't recall if this had been mentioned, but found some 10-2 outdoor wire tonight. Normally $88 for 100 feet marked down to $22. I grabbed 2 rolls. I don't have any outdoor projects at the moment, but figure it should work fine for indoor use as well at that price.

Thanks for the heads up on this item. I purchased one for local pick up. I have a cheaper digital thermometer without the thermal adjustment. The Southwire thermometer will be a nice upgrade at the right price!

I just picked up the Southwire 1000 degree digital thermometer (Item# 464304) from my local Lowes. When I ordered it, it was priced at $26.99. After picking it up this morning, I walked through the electrical aisle with the Southwire Tools to see the clearance items available. I noticed that the digital thermometer was further marked down from $26.99 to $20.24 (with 1 available in stock). I went back to the Customer Service desk and was given a price adjustment without any issues.
