Does anyone knows when Bosch router bits got replaced by Irwin Router bits? I guess I missed the clearance sale on those bits.

Dunno. I was told by an employee that some stores stock Irwin, some stock Bosch. Not sure how accurate that is.

Also, I've noticed some of the Bosch oscillating multi-tool blades on clearance.

My store has some of both. Irwin mostly sets. I picked up a couple of drill bits 157842 @ 4.80 and 157840 @4.16

I've noticed it seems to be a store by store thing right now. Some have the Irwin's, some don't.

Those southwire things worked the same as 15-20.00 generic brand ones that Amazon sells.

Good for you!

Ended up with "can't find them routine, but we got the 3 pack for forty-eight dollars available" wasted trip. And of course no call or cancellation email. Other stores have them but at full price or only 50% off.

Picked up a Genie power max 1200 opener , probably old stock. guy scanned it came up $208.00 a non-stock item. Told him if they would take $75 since the box looked beat up, he said no way.

Then he said $150, I told him nicely, I don't think so, a minute later he said $100. I said how about $90 out the door , he said ok $90 you have a deal.
I thanked him. Also got my 5% off for the Lowes card..

I did ok , my old craftsman trolley plastic insert been broken for about a year now, so now I'll put up the Genie tomorrow and give my craftsman to my neighbor if he wants it..

Does complaining about getting the "not in stock" routine at Lowe's get you anywhere? Saw here or at SD they had a pack of WD-40 and a can of WD-40 Rust Penetrant for $1.99. Store by my office was the only one around I could find it showing in stock with 5 of them. Stopped by yesterday after work but couldn't find any. Was at in-laws today and checked online again. Still showed 5 in stock so I ordered 2. Ten minutes later I get a call. It's a special item and they're out of stock. Just got home about a half hour ago and looked online. They show 3 in stock. Interesting there's none in stock, yet the exact quantity I ordered has been removed from the number of them in stock. Didn't know if complaining would help or just be ******* up a rope.

Really depends on the people working in store.

In the major metropolitan areas I find mostly kids or short timers that are just putting in the time for a pay check.

Where in rural areas (like PA) I've found that they're dedicated employees who follow thru and clean up inventory errors.

The Rockwall store had these marked down from $59.99 to $19.99. They've been discontinued so YMMV. (Didn't have my phone with me so I borrowed pictures off the internet.)

Thanks for the idea with the ladder on the bottom rack. Wasn't using the bottom cause I didn't want to walk into a piece of lumber:lol_hitti

I found one of the lumber racks at my local store last week and picked it up for $20. It was in a random spot in the lumber department. At checkout the lady said another guy had been in the day before and bought 5 of them.

I don't have time to see if anyone has already posted these, but the Utilitech 500 pack assorted zip ties were yellow tagged at $2.00. The 700 packs were at $4.00. They also had Ideal heat shrink tubing half off or better. Oh and the Dewalt impact rated conduit reamer bit was $6.00, originally 19.97.

Same with me, they sent me the in-store pickup - showed up and they didn't have them. Only because the lady at the front desk was nice & I talked with her before did I not make a scene.

What's a SKU on those lumber racks. Trying to find one in the area using their site, and I'm having a hard time finding them on their site.
