Lowe's Clearance Thread 2016

I scored this 4 piece Irwin construction chisel set for $16.98 at my local store. The only 1 in stock in my area. The 3 piece construction chisel set with the same chisels goes for $10 more. These are very comparable to the DeWalt construction chisels I own, about 3/4" longer though.

I also added these to an Internet order and got another 20% off of the above price.

Took advantage of the clearance pricing on hammers to pick up a few I needed. There were still plenty in stock at the store across town.
Also picked up some crows feet on clearance which the store on my side of town didn't have when I bought some other sizes a month or so ago.

The Kobalt screwdrivers with striking caps, USA with global components, have gone on clearance but not much of a price drop.

Not every one shows clearance yet. I'm waiting to see if I can get a set (6 or 7 drivers I think?) for under $20.

Yeah, I checked them out too, but the store I was at only had the singles (the set was Made in China non-clearance). $5-$7 a piece. Usually a few dollars off. If they go down more I'd grab them, but I like their USA made "electrician" screwdrivers with the comfort grips more; and those are $5 and change for a pair.
