We get some ridiculously hot summers so it's a trade-off.

Tease my friend in Tennessee when it gets hot on how the "southerners" are use to the heat. Winds him up everytime.

Of course he always calling me about how warm it is down there when it's snowing here. Just got to -7 last night. Wind chill is brutal.

Lowes has them on special now, $199/ton with free delivery on 2+ tons. HD here still has them at $259
Is the 10% coupon working on that deal or is it already considered a special pricing item?

Should work, I didn't have time to try anything. Last time they gave me a 10% discount when HD wouldn't. I should have tried it this time, could have saved $100

Btw they couldn't get the truck started this morning so the pellets are coming Friday. Works for me... Wasn't really looking forward to lugging 250 bags in that freezing temperature

The HD Pellets they sell in CT ****.. The ash build up is terrible.. couldnt wait to burn the last bag.

Fireside is by far the best I have used. No dust in the bag, burns hot, and less ash than any other brand I've tried. Unfortunately They are at HD so no deal.
Better than Green Supreme.

Item #: 11424 | Model #: WH302BDX

$39.75

Originally over $350. i found three in Austin, picked up two of them yesterday

That's a great price! Wish I lived around New Braunfels... It's $38.16. Can't find any around me in the Dallas area.

Bought those 2 and finally sold the last one this evening. Got $150 each. I had planned to use them in some rental homes but damn those things were huge. Was happy to get them out of my garage.

Anyone from Connecticut burn pellets? This is the only store I see in the country selling cheaper than $199.

Southington, CT $3.06/bag ($153/ton) 6300 bags left. Stock up if you're in the area, I've never seen pellets this cheap.

I prefer the summers to the winters here.

Humidity is what kills me with the heat.

In my younger days I'd leave the house at sunrise and not come home until dark. Spend all day playing hockey on the lake.
Cold what cold? Now I'm lucky to clear the driveway before the frostbite starts setting in.

Spent a few days building an ice boat. Friend's father had found a parachute and we torn apart a few old ice skates slapped them on some lumber. Damn that thing was fast, and no brakes or way of stopping. Young and stupid

I've never even see a pellet or the stove they go in. Sounds like a lot of work. Just turn the dial up on the house thermostat!!

They are $204 in the Newberry SC store. Not close enough for me to drive there at that price.

i grabbed a store return from my local store. thought a family member wanted it but turns out it won't fit. if you want to pay for shipping you can have it for what i paid for it ($60)
