So he was just messing with you then?

No he's stalking me. I blocked him from emailing me a while ago because he started being a *****. He is banned on GJ but still lurks every deal that is posted.

I swear he's watching everything I do.

Bottom line, this forum needs to be for members only. I suggested it numerous times but nothing is happening.

Lmfao. Look at this message I just got on eBay from user "bastehd" in Hobart, IN.
For a bulk lot of 36 circuit breakers.

Hey -- Just because you scored these things for cheap in Brocton and Plainville doesn't mean that you have to go giving them away. Raise your price. $10 is way too cheap. They need to sell for $15, or $12.50 at the lowest. Of course, if you intend to just blow them out at $10 I could just tell everyone at The SlickDeals Journal where you're getting them and put an end to the party.

This sounds like a Lowes employee to me, who's looking into my orders.
Judging by his items for sale, it's definitely a Lowes employee. Should report his *** to corporate

Good grief, someone needs to put on their big girl ******* and get over it. Personally, I would report the seller to Ebay and then just move on and keep selling circuits at discount prices!

The thing I don't understand is:

Is he saying he would tell us and we'd end... the party of you being able to go to your local Lowes and search the Lowes website online?

Or is he saying he'd tell Lowes that there's yet another deals website along with a thousand others that they should for some raisin be more worried about?

:dunno:

It's not secret that Lowes clearances stuff out for cheap. If you put enough time/effort in as SPN does, you are bound to get good deals on stuff and be able to make some money at the same time.

He is just bitter because SPN selling them for cheap is hurting his sales because his stuff isn't moving.

I need to get into the local Lowes tomorrow morning and see if I can find any of these routers. I'd like a second one. Who knows what else will be there as well!

Dropped by today and seems they cleared out a bulk of the clearance and set them out on a table, mostly odd ball stuff and a bunch of window blind hardware.

Found some channel locks on clearance along with the screwdrivers someone mentioned being clearance out.

Did find this and they have done a complete reset of the electrical section.

Anyone else found the cheap router?

I website is showing 5 near me at $53, but I haven't been to the store yet.

*Edit: It was down to 1 store showing 3 left. I drove over and they had 2 on the shelves. I bought 1 and left the last 1.

Only 1 store in my entire area showing any of the routers last night, happened to be the store my brother in law manages. He was closing last night, but was too busy to go grab them for me. Checked inventory this afternoon and they were all gone, bummer.

I usually till in bone meal along with dried blood and a few other things every season in my raised vegetable beds. I think Roses also really like it.

Pretty good reviews on Lowes and Amazon. I figured they will sound at least as good as what I paid for them.

On-Q/Legrand Set Of 2 100-Watt 6.5-in Rectangular In-Wall Speaker
Item: 248224
is showing up in 3 state area for me at $68.97 for each pair.

Dang. Deal on those! Closest to me is about an hour out for $13/pair. Not worth the drive for me to get them however.

These speakers go down to $29 near me

Item: 248223

Have you'll heard them? I installed some on a job in three houses helping a buddy out.

I bought some cheap yamo for my house and they are much better than these. If you just need light background music they are OK.

I haven't installed them or listened to them yet. I have a feeling they'll sound better than any other $6 speakers. I'll probably install 2 pairs in my shop. Where do you buy yamo speakers? I've never heard of them.

I'm waiting for some kobalt **** I have to break to see how the warranty them since they are no longer made.

Anyone know what happens if you have a drill or nail gun that kobalt no longer makes. What do they give you when you return it?

I got a chuckle at my last trip to Lowes.

All of the Stanley replacements for the recently cleared out Kobalt tool sets (ratchets, sockets, etc) are ALSO on clearance now.

SMH.

Someone on here mentioned that they should give a similar replacement. I have not tested it out. In the case of the Kobalt brad and pin nailers, I was told that they should replace with either Bostitch or Hitachi.

I contacted the 2 closest Lowes, and was told that they would just refund it rather than replace it. Of course, I only talked to someone in tools/hardware.
Their reasoning was because the Kobalt ones were a lot cheaper than the Hitachi and Bostitch. Who knows.. I'll cross that path if mine breaks. I only have the Kobalt pin nailer, everything else is Bostitch, Hitachi, Ridgid, and Senco.

not tools, but a few local stores had a bunch of wall tiles on clearance, redoing a bathroom so we picked up a bunch marked down from $15 each to $3.

I noticed that too- struck me as odd. Knowing Lowes, they'll all be regular price again in a week.

I had a lifetime warranty Hampton Bay fan from Home Depot. The remote quit so I took the whole fan back. The told me to go find the same fan and he would swap it out. Fans change all of the time and the one I had was NLA. The clerk offered to give me a refund and had found the lowest closeout price of something like $15. I told him that warranties don't work like that. He got the store manager who tried the same BS. I told him that warranties don't work like that. I had a defective fan that was 52", light kit, and a remote. THAT is what they needed to give me back. I didn't see anywhere that proof of purchase is required and told him so.

I kept my cool and my voice calm but was very firm about how warranties work. He reluctantly told me to pick out a fan that had the same features.
