Google Lowe's Coupon Generator. I've used these to buy online and they always work for 10% off.

I might need other sizes not enclosed in this set. Would this set better suited as a starter set? I can add more sizes as needed, right? The self-leveling feature eliminates guess work. Would never need to buy a separate gauge. :)

EVERY mag light I ever had had battery leaks. I'll never buy another , ever.!

Is it the quality or duration of the batteries? How is this a maglite problem? Just wondering. I was going to run eneloop AA batteries in a d size spacer, but I'm confused why every says the light leaks.

It's because people leave batteries in their maglite for 5 years and then all the sudden the power goes out and "the piece of **** ate batteries!" You know, not that you didn't ever bother to change them for a decade. ..

oh boy.. i'm up to 5 batteries already, but the biggest I have is a 2.6Ah..

maybe i'll check it out.. dunno if I really need more though.. I'd like to get one of the 6Ah batteries.

If my local store had it I'd get one, but have two 6.0 one 5.0 and 4 1.5 and two chargers already think i'm good to go. Got two 6.0 from ebay for 105 bucks

Anybody seen Makita batteries on sale?

Check Ebay, you can get new 2 packs in sealed packages from authorized retailers for $105. I got a set for a relative who needed some over the winter.

I hit a couple stores around KC and saw a lot of drill bits (spade, hole, masonry and twist), power bits and various light switches, covers and outlets all on clearance.

The brands I remember were Kobalt, Irwin, Porter Cable and Dewalt.

I haven't been to Lowes for a week or two so I'm not sure when they started dropping.

Found a lot of uf wire for under .10 cents a ft. 8-3,10-2,10-3 and 12-3. I think my stores are switching over to pre cut spools only.
I'm sitting on over 1100 feet of the above wire.

Thought I had read something along those lines but no go in my local Lowes... Lowes regular price was 2 times as much as a local electrical supply company quoted me. $2.79 a foot vs $1.32 a foot...

I've used similar head lamps in the past for fishing and night, working in attics, crawl spaces, etc. Thought I loved them untill I found the "powercap" They come in different colors including cammo (if thats your thing) but non the less I'll never go back to the standard head lamp.
I picked up my last one off amazon ware house for $8 bucks btw
