firs time poster, is there any way for me to see my local inventory? these items are no on the website anymore...

Often Lowes just pulls the item from their search engine.

For example this item:

Garden Treasures Williamstown 35.43-in W x 67.91-in L Rectangle Aluminum Dining Table
Item # 740382

If you search on Lowe's you won't find item 740382. But, you can use Google to find the page:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=lowes+740382&l=1

I probably didn't pick a great example, since that table is in 1 store in Colorado but you get the idea.

They seem to have LED lighting on massive clearance as well; I picked up some great deals on Feit lighting and Utilitech Pro (by Feit) over the weekend.

Also saw the DeWalk 709 12" sliding miter saw 'on sale' for $399, with a free DeWalt portable saw stand. Somehow this doesn't seem like a great deal when the 718 hits the same price at Homeless Despot once or twice a year. Not really sure if there is a significant difference in the two though to matter.

I don't want to make it too easy to find (because I'm still trying to find them) but there's some smokin deals on insulation (R13, R19, etc) if you've got a keen eye and google it.

Found this display model at Lowe's today, top & bottom. Offered $200. They countered $350. Few dents, otherwise everything works. What do you think?

what size is it? those are 2 different size boxes in the links.
I haven't played around with their stainless boxes, but i'm not too impressed with their regular black boxes. I definitely prefer Husky. Husky boxes are much more rugged.

Sorry, they're 27" stainless steel. I ran over to HD tonight & found Milwakee boxes for $500; same dimensions but not as nice, good enough though.

I have a Kobalt upper in stainless. It's OK for home use. I don't think I would want to pay $350 for a set if it's dented up. I wish it was clear coated like my other one. As long as the dents were on the back or side I guess I would.

good luck, I tried to find them near me and nothing available. Everything seems to be west of me.

The local Lowes stores in South Jersey have Philips LED bulbs for 48 cents, but only in 40-watt equivalent, which I believe are something like 7 watts. The weird thing is that those same bulbs are $4.98 each if you drive two hours north into New York.

Nice deal. Anyone happen to know if a 12.5 pound spool will fit in a Lincoln 140?
Me and 06GMC were trying to figure this out. I think it says either 10 pound or the small spool (1 pound??), so not sure if the 12.5 will fit or not.

Ya, saw the gray plastic roof vents for $1.25

The black aluminum ones were up in auburn, federal way, or puyallup (forgot which) lowes for $4.50 (regular $10.50). Wish i could find them closer for that price.

Additionally the insulation that is on sale that I mentioned a few pages back is the DENIM R13 and R19 Ultratouch. Also John Mansville R19 comfort therm. I got them down to around $20 or less each bundle.

Lots of roof and house vents on sale

Everything I have seen 10-12.5lb spools are all the same dimensions just vary on fill depending on manufacturer. You just need the spindle adapter to go from the 1lb spools to the 12.5s. For Lincoln in the big box stores the 10lb spools seem correspond to flux core.

Thanks, i'll have to check if that adapter was included when I get home.

Forgive me if these are reposts. I wandered through my local lowes and noticed a few items that are actually a good deal.

This socket set would be awesome it was at least a regular 12 point set.

Impact driver kit seems like good quality. I bought the rest they had. Good set for work just in case someone walks away with it you're only out a 1.80

Trowels are cheap but hey 4 for a buck good throw away tool if you don't want to clean them after.

Good luck guys!
