Spyder bi-metal hole saws - looks Like Lowes is moving them out - yellow tagged at 75 cents to $1.25. Picked up a bunch just because - 1-/34", 2". 2-1/8", & 2-1/4".Next time I go back I'll grab some more, as I wasn't sure they were standard ... they fit my Blu-Mol arbor. Don't know if they are good on metal, but I do a lot more wood work than metal work.

I would stock up on that laundry detergent. That **** ain't cheap at the supermarket. There's a cheap brand that I always get that's about $6 or $7 for that size.

Not sure where they are made, it's a Canadian company, but the packaging isn't marked as to COO.

Anyway, went back and picked up a few more - the carbide ones were $1.35 each. Down the aisle, there was a new Spyder display, and the hole saws looked to be the same, only $14-15 price tags. The closeout ones did have a lot of dust on the tops.

Spyder has a wide assortment of tools:

Not sure why I haven't run across them before.

If your store still has Bosch bits and drill bits in stock they're getting pretty cheap. Check out the Bosch display section next time your at lowes.

Got a bunch of the bi-metal, and the carbide tipped hole saws for .90c to less than $2 for the 4 inch. Got some of the cascade for .80c a bottle too. Thanks.

That's a healthy markup on the cascade. I checked my lowes today, originally marked as $3.59 on sale for $3.23. Amazon has it for $9.88. :eyecrazy:

maybe I should buy all 10ish bottles left??

I go check stuff like this and my store only has them 20% off. Happens again and again. For whatever reason these deep discounts don't get to my store.

Damn. Almost had a price match on a paint sprayer at .03 at HD. They called the store and were about to do it until HD said they were discontinued

So I find a Lowe's that has 1 remaining of the rectangular table (item #740382) and order it on-line for in-store pick-up (all other local stores out of stock) at the clearance price of $100.

Wait a couple hours and go to pick it up...you can guess what happened next. "Your item couldn't be located and we cancelled your order." Sure enough, walked into garden area and it was on clearly display with a SOLD sign on it.

Went back to the service desk and explained what we found. We asked who it was SOLD to and the clerk couldn't tell us. My wife asked if it was SOLD to Mr. Employee but the clerk didn't get her snide comment. She said she would honor our on-line order (gee, thanks) but looking at the style of the table, we decided that we'd keep looking.

I know retail work doesn't pay much but I am getting a bit tired of the entitlement mentality that is unfortunately so prevalent in our society today. I hope the Employee family enjoys their new table. Rant over. And yes, I do feel better.

Was there any reply from corporate about such actions from their employees? Lowe's seems to be the most consistent with lying, cancelling and then taking the deal for themselves.

I finally ran out of all my lowes gift cards from the safeway 20% fathers day thing........anyone have some other fancy ways of getting lowes gift cards at a discount? I'm down to using my discover 5%...that's about it. it's been fairly quiet on the gift card front.

Is there an easy way to look for lowes clearance deals at local on their website after the update? I have been messing around but haven't really found a way yet.

the dawn soap is where it's at. Ajax doesn't go far enough even with 18 bottles.

Looks like you cant stack 5% sundays with a coupon code. So there goes that idea.
