Get them to adjust the 10% before entering it into the computer then the 5% off worked for me also but you can't use both entered into the computer together.

With SPN banned deals may be getting slower and been a long time since jeepster posted as well. Must be somewhere else I suspect.

When you bite the hands that feeds you...innocent people, lurkers and us slickdeals guys loose too.

Not sure what all happened that he got banned. I know stuff happened over in the HD forum but don't follow it since I don't have a store Close.

Just trying to figure out why there weren't any deals posted or members commenting for a long time compared to what it used to be. Hopefully it won't go wayward like SD did.

People were just stating their opinions and some people were troll'd while others took it a little to far. Mod came in and locked it (HD thread and then came here and locked this thread) Some people got banned and as you can tell the main contributors where the people that got banned permanently or temp and obviously didn't come back. But the deals are well and alive. ff8c321dad73e71bdae5a0bc0b93adbd.jpg

Thanks. No cords in any of my stores but I got the 16" trowel & brick trowel for $7.50 each.

Also got 615050 36" trowel for $7, 615031 bronze groover for $5.50, & two 676895 rakes for $5.75 each. Just need a bull float and a couple of poles now to do my driveway. And a pole mount groover. And a couple of laborers. LOL

Or you can browse the masonry tools category which is what I did. I saw the bull float but none of the 8 stores around me had it.

What I didn't notice until today, when I checked again thanks to your post, was that it's available for shipping. That's unusual for these clearance deals. If they're not in stock at any nearby stores you're usually SOL. So I added a couple of other things I needed anyway and slapped a $10 off $50 coupon on the order and got it for $22 (about $18 after the coupon) with free shipping.

Still no poles though. Only one store has them in stock and they're only 10% off.

Here are a few more I found at 50%+ off...

10 Piece metric wrench set

12 Piece micro file set

Not showing up on Lowes.com but they had a bunch in the store for $6.29. Regular $17.98

5 piece rotary drill bit set

Another one not online. $7.18 clearance. Regular $14.98

21 piece black oxide 1/4 hex shank drill bit set up to 1/2"

Not available online but they had 20+ in the middle of the main aisle outside of tools. $15, regular $24. Not the biggest discount but a very useful set IMO. I'm sure we all have sets/bits like this but it's rare to find one this complete with sizes 3/8 and above and/or not mixed in with a bunch of other screwdriver bits we already have out the wazoo.

Can someone give me some tips on how to find working 15 off 50 codes? I tried an online source but every code was used. They limit you to about 6 to 8 codes so after going through 2 computers with them all maxed out I had to use 10% off code I had

With 6-8 codes you should be able to figure out the formula and create your own codes.

I don't think they've technically been used. That's just the error message they're giving. My guess is Lowe's killed the $15 off $50's. They stopped working a few weeks ago and now they have $10 off $50's that do work.

Gannz thanks for posting the wrenches. I've been waiting for that set to get cheaper. I really like the satin finish to hold onto when they get greasy. I have several sets of wrenches but only a couple of individuals finished like that.

If anyone is interested the 10 pc metrics are not the only wrenches 1/2 off. The SAE 10pc and the 7 pc stubby in both SAE and metric are also $10 per set.

bunch of wire on sale as mentioned, looks like mostly 12 and 14awg. Too bad I really only need 10awg.
If you have a need for 3/0, that's a super deal too.

Does Lowes price match prices listed online in the store.
Their prices online already match the in-store price. Prices do vary store to store, but the online price will match the store selected. They will not price match store to store, at least not around here.

Wire deal is still in some stores, but they took it offline last night. You'll have to look.

PAINFUL process to buy some today, I bought several reels (they were happy since they didn't have to measure the length) so the salesperson marked it as $5/reel or however much they believed was left on the reel. Should have made them mark the length, cashier & her supervisor couldn't figure out how to divide by $.01 - "I can't sell this to you, you'll have to come back in a few hours after we measure how much is on this reel." It went downhill from there although in the end I walked out the door with some of it.

Clearance Southwire Electrical Wire and Cat 5e Starting @ $0.01/ft Lowes B&M & Online YMMV

Check your stores online. Browse to category...

Electrical
 Electrical Wire & Cable
 TFFN & THHN Wire
 THHN Wire (By-the-Foot)

Select "available for pickup today" and sort price low to high. Found some at one of my stores for .02/ft.

Tell them to put it back on the spool if you're going back to get it. They measured mine and didn't bother to put it back on the spool. Took them 5 hours to pull the order so I wasn't about to wait around for them to put it back on.

I had them get the spools off of the rack so now I just need to rig something to wind it back on. I'm thinking some thread rod sandwiched with washers & nuts and attached to the drill (variable speed on low). That or a broom handle and child labor.

Hey neighbor (I'm near Kernersville)! Don't know how much you need/want but 500' spools of 14 are .055/ft and 12 is .08/ft. Buy 2 spools of 14 and use a $10/50 coupon brings it down to .045/ft. Buy 1 spool of 12 & something else for $10 that you need, add coupon, brings it to .065/ft.

If you need any heavy gauges, supply houses like Graybar are about 50% cheaper than Lowes/HD.

The KV is the one I went to. I left everything more expensive than $0.06 to see if it drops any more. Don't particularly 'need' as much as I got, I am going to set up dust collection and will use the solid wire with no jacket for grounding. So for now all I know is 'a lot' but I think with hundreds of feet of solid 12 I should be fine.
