Lowes in my area now carries a 2-pack of "wrench storage rails", #516039, very similar in form/function to the Ernst wrench rails. They are not magnetic, but have a flat bottom you could use double-sided tape or magnetic tape to stick. Less than $7 each, so it's about a wash once you add your method vs buying the Ernst rails.
I have been trying to figure out how to organize all my wrenches, and I bought two packs and this is definitely the way to go for a toolbox. Holds them nice and tight and you can organize them in two directions (larger/smaller or smaller/larger), cut out segments for groups of odd-size/quantity wrenches like flare nut wrenches, etc. This seems to be the highest density and most flexible way to store wrenches outside of the home-made wire coils/etc.
They're not online yet for some reason. Ernst photo attached.
