Kobalt 34-piece wrench set. Saw it in the store last weekend for $25. Clearance sticker said original price was $98.

I think the set in the link below is the one you are talking about. I bought one today and the wrenches look very good for the price.

A label on the outside of the pack claims that they would sell for over $200 if bought individually.

I haven't used Kobalt that much, but the hand tools seem good quality and are easy to warranty.

ditto. I waited for the <$20 price. didn't happen. Looking back, I'm ok with my decision.

Yeah, that's pricing shenanigans. The price has never been $98. It was originally $50. They're the Black Friday Chinese special; a non-stock item.
