I've been a long-time reader of this forum, and I was surprised when I didn't see anything about the big Mac cart. There's quite a bit on here about the KRSC46. There's much less about alternatives. I had mostly settled on getting a KRSC46 based on the reviews, but I wound up going for the Mac after cross-shopping.
Hopefully this helps someone else going down a similar path.
Here's how it looks after owning it for about 6 months.
I pulled a drawer open to help with perspective. It's a big cart, and I use it as a main box.
And here's some more of the top compartment and another drawer.
Here are the specs from their catalog:
Dimensions: 41.5 W x 47 H x 25 D
Volume:24,722 cu in
Drawer Slide Capacity: 125 lb for the single slide drawers and 250 lb for the double slide, same as the Mac Tech series
Casters: 1,200 lb caster, same as the Mac Tech series (The wheels are chintzy feeling and my least favorite part of the cart.)
The Mac website is somewhat lacking so you have to call their customer service line for more info.
Weight: The total weight is somewhere between 300-400 lbs, unloaded. I believe it was 330 lbs.
Sheet Metal: The exterior sheet metal is 16 gauge and the drawers are 18 gauge.
When I called up Mac's customer service line, they quoted me $2800 and gave me the contact info. for a distributor. I got a few hundred off the price, but I think I could have done better.
Ordering from the distributor was easy enough for someone not working out of a shop. I met him along his route, and I made the order the same day. You have the option to order it with different drawer configurations and whatever hideous color combo you want. I think he was vaguely amused that I wanted a red toolbox with chrome trim.
Overall, I’d probably buy it again. I’d love to have a big shop with a double or triple-bank roll cab, but those boxes weren’t an option for me, and as renter, I have to think about moving. This cart is in sort of a sweet spot. It has a lot of storage volume, but it’s still light enough to be mobile. The drawers feel as nice as any of the larger Macsimizer boxes I tried, and I like the adjustable detents. The lock ‘n roll drawers were a big turn off for me on the Snap-on boxes I looked at.
If you're looking for the storage capacity of a small double-bank, but you don't have the space and/or you want something more mobile, I think this is a good choice.

I browsed the MAC online catalog and there were limited offerings of tool holders, cord wraps, and possibly an additional drawer unit.
