Made use of front garage

A few years ago I built my 24' x 24' garage out in my backyard so I could keep my '51 Ford back there in the winter months. I'd work on the old girl while the snow fell and in the summer I would keep her up in the single car (attached) garage (see pic) for easy access. It was the perfect plan except it left the front garage empty for the winter, until now. I just bought another project that can be kept in the front garage during the winter and kept in the rear garage in the summer. This is "Pearl", a 1929 Ford model A (see pics) that a coworker's Dad had owned for the last twenty years. I asked if he'd be willing to sell her and last week he decided to part with her. I'm planning on a mild restoration, nothing too serious, she has some "distinguished" dings, dents, and scrapes that should be left alone, it took eighty five years to acquire them so I'd hate to lose all of those those "age spots".

Great Tudor. Age = wisdom = knowing how much restoration is "enough".
Looking forward to updates

Thanks, I ordered new hood shelves (these are pretty rough) and a radiator splash apron (which is missing). After that I'd like to find a decent right fender. Someone banged this one up and tried to fix it with a few gallons of bondo. It's beyond reasonable repair. That should do it as far as basic needs cosmetically.

Nice looking truck! Ill bet finding parts is a nightmare

Thanks, because it's a mishmash of parts from private vendors and numerous vehicles (both make and models), it's not the kind of vehicle you can swing by your local NAPA store and easily find the parts needed. The most difficult item I had to locate so far was the lower radiator hose. I destroyed numerous hoses until I figured out that an early '70's Ford Torino hose (cut down just right) works perfect.
