So, for a good while now there's been magnetic panels, like Mechanics Time Savers, and whatnot. I don't (yet) have any of them but what got me wondering about them is my tool chest came with a similar "magnetic tool wall" along the back of the shelf.
Like both of these, all the magnetic panels I've seen seem to have similar spaced slots running down them, giving me the impression the slots would be useful for accessories that would help to organize use of the panel, where everything has a spot so I can easily tell if something's missing, instead of just having tools or whatnot randomly stuck there like flies in flypaper. I'm thinking things like socket holders or screwdriver racks, etc, designed to make use of the magnetic panel and its slots.
Is there anything like that available, or has anyone come up with their own?
I've seen some stick the magnetic mechanic time savers style magnetic socket/pliers/screwdriver/etc holders to the panels, but that seems overkill / redundant / a waste of panel space since the holders are already designed to hold tools horizontal or vertical.
