If you want to see what they're like, they carry the 56" in stores, which is comparable to the 72", just not as deep and obviously not as wide.

I wish I had considered the Masterforces more seriously before buying my HF 44". I think the drawers and latches are nicer on them. The way the drawers latch in on the HF is just the worst. It's still a pretty nice box but I hate the soft detents where you have to push the drawer in hard to get it to latch.

Looks really good, I'm about to order the exact same thing. Do you have any issues with the box moving around at all when you.use it? The locking wheels seem to be poorly made.

Ordered a 72 today. Wanted a stainless top but they told me that they were not available. Anyone know if they have ever been back ordered before? They just said unavailable at this time.

That's weird. Come to think of it when I originally ordered it said it was on back order for a month.

Stopped at Home depot where they had a Extreme Tools 72 for 1599.00. Tried to get them to discount the 500 like Menards but they told me the best they could do would be 50.00 off, so I walked and went to menards and ordered. Sure hope that i will be able to get a stainless top yet though or i will be a little disappointed. I just think that box looks nice with that top.

Menards will be able to fill your order....in the mean time do a google search. I picked mine up at Sears Outlet for $50.

Now they will actually ship to my house, they never offered that before. It's $250 shipping but for the box size it's not terrible.

I was looking at putting two of the boxes together, but they are only 18 and 20" deep correct? I would like a minimum of 24" D

Yes..... I have 2 of the of the 46" put together.

I would much rather have another 72" for the added depth and better drawer layout.

1-72" with SS top, 1-56" with SS top, 1-56" top/bottom set.

I have them set up took about an hour for all, not much room for pics though:

Gonna take me a week to get the tools in there, will post ice when done.

I have the 72" for hand tools, 56" stack for auto/engine tools and the 56" base for electrical tools.

Thanks for posting your pictures 77Ford, they helped me make a good decision!

Thought I would add: the casters looked cheap in the pictures, they actually look pretty strong in person, I am not worried about them at all now.

Only initial downsides I see are: Side handle hardware is tiny and I do t trust it, I wished the tops of the drawers had rolled or hemmed edges to stiffen them up and the top compartment of the 56" top chest sags in the middle.

Still a great buy and will do the job just fine.

You got the best bag for your buck.... The 72" was a great buy but the 56" was almost a steal.

Nice color choice.......[emoji6]

Glad to help.....send a PM any time!
