Hello! This is my first time posting, although I have followed this site for a little while now. I did a number of searches for this topic here and elsewhere, but couldn't find answers, so I decided to post a question:
We recently had a epoxy floor professionally installed in our garage. It's not something I would have normally done, but we have a storage room below our garage and were getting a bit of leaking from melting snow in the winter. Anyway, the surface is non-slip with a clear coat, but it still seems a bit slippery when wet and we would like to put down a couple simple floor mats near the doors (one to the house and one to the deck). I understand that regular rubber mats may stain and plastic/vinyl mats may adhere. Cloth or rope mats would seem reasonable, but I'm afraid they may slip around.
Could anyone suggest a good mat to use? Or maybe rubber mats are okay if moved/cleaned occasionally?
The installer suggested a breathable-type mat, but I haven't found anything like that at Lowes or Home Depot. I'm not a stickler that needs to keep it pristine, but obviously I don't want to harm the floor if I can avoid it.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
