Anyone seen these? Not seeing them on the website. I am somewhat interested with the price I have seen people saying they paid for them.

Are they US made?

Would this be a good starting plier set?

Thanks!

The set is SP11SET, it includes:
hose HGG10BPA, HGG16BPA, HGG24BPA

short PM006PA, PMD06PA, PMB06PA, PMN06PA

long PN0111P, PNO110P, PN0112P, PD011BPA

also comes with a bag. It is not listed on the site, I called the Matco cs number and placed my order. Came out to 119.15 shipped to my door. The gentleman said that I should have them by Friday at the latest. But more then likely will have them on Thursday. I am pretty excited.

Did some searching on the Matco site, the shorts aren't listed. The hose pliers were 72.90 each, and then the longs that I did find seemed to be about 63 each. Seems like a heck of a deal for the price paid. They are listed at 99 dollars but shipping and tax bumped me up.

I think I posted a link a while back in the hot deals forum for a long reach plier set, and a lot of people said that Mac rebranded them and sold them under their name as well. I'll see if I can find it, and you can see if it's the same set.

Eh.. Just realized you asked about Matco, and I thought Mac.. Anyway - check em out, they are $40 now with free shipping..

A rep from Mac told me these guys make their pliers http://www.goalmactools.com/

With that said, I have Mac long reach duckbill pliers and long reach diagonal cutters. The cutters have worked just as well as my Channellock, Klein, Craftsman USA, and Proto diagonal cutters.

Are the hose pliers the same as my matco hgo24b hgo16b hgo10b set?? Are my part numbers just older because I think I paid over $200 for the set of 3?

I had asked my Matco guy about these back in Nov. Guee what he just got in today. Gotta love that speedy service LOL. COO on mine says "Made in China to Matco specifications" for whatever that's worth. They seem 1/2 decent and for the price I'm certainly not complaining. Also picked up a set of triple squares just in case I'm ever farfrompoopin and feel like working on a VeeDub.

I have this set, it's pretty good quality from what I can tell. I've needed a set of these pliers, and the matco guy just so happened to have a promo about these. Lifetime warranty from what I know. And I havent broken one yet and i use them everyday

My Matco guy has these in green now... so I am sure your local guy has them, if you're interested.

I bought an orange set at the flea market minus the box. If I had known they were Chinese, I would not have gotten them. But I will say, the quality on them is really good. All tips touch, and the teeth are all sharp with firm smooth closing/opening actions.

Just saw these in the truck. They look nice. I'm not a impulse buyer, so I walked away with my screwdrivers, but I'm thinking I'll have to get a set.

UGGGGGGGGG, really wish I would have waited now. Green is my favorite color!
