I think it's cool! Different, but cool! But hey, who doesn't like to have a few odd or different tools in their box? ;)

*but ...Made in Usa or Taiwan...?

USA, says it right next to Matco on the handle. All of Matco's ratchets are USA made, the only exception are the comfort grips because the grips are imported so they dont get the stamp.

I hate this metal finish. I saw a set of rims the other day with the lip in this finish. It really bugged me haha.

Neat, yes, hokey,a bit. I'd take it for the right price But If i took something like that to work it would inspire a nick name for sure...

Save your pennies boys...Domascus steel is going to change the face of pompous tools.

please recomendation... :headscrat

Matco (88 ratchet gear teeth produce a swing arc just over 4°)

Snap On ( • 80 tooth gear
• 7 teeth in contact with gear to provide strength and durability
• Ratchet Arc - Dual 80™ Technology ratchet has 25% less ratcheting arc and requires the least amount of arc to engage the next gear tooth)

This one has a thinner head than the snapon, but I still like the dual 80's over the matco/armstrong/gearwrench ratchets. Both nice ratchets, just a preference. If you are like me, you'll get both and choose based on the application.

Exactly. If Matco makes it, then it's a gay piece of ****.

If Snap-On made it, it would be hailed as the greatest thing since the invention of the wheel.

Exactly what I was gonna post.

I like it. :dunno:

SO Dual 80. I only own a handful of SO tools (due to their price), but a Dual 80 ratchet is one of them. It's just one of those tools where SO is far ahead of the competition.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
Glad I bought mine when I did. And for you guys saying that this ratchet is gay, maybe but I only use it while I wearing my pink *******.....goes with my black steel toe boots ( you know that's how you like your men).

PS,

It's a great ratchet.

These days how a tool 'looks' is almost its most important selling point. When members discuss hand tools in threads the tools appearance is mentioned most. Tool makers know this and give the market what they seek.....ghey looking tools that customers can polish. One post in this thread discussed function of ratchet. Ahrrrr

You guys realize noobs like to dig up old threads and post in them, right?

That aside, I'm glad most of the people that posted in this thread are no longer active on the board. They sound like a bunch of morons.
