I was told in another email this only applies to the 2 & 3 tons. Anything above them, 4 ton and up is 100% American made.
Although its a minor thing that the wheels & handle are made elsewere, it seems it would be such a simple change so they could state 100% made in USA on all HW jacks and maybe save a job here? I say maybe because everythings automated in a factory now so it may not save one job.
So' there must be a big reason those parts are imported? Handle should be a very easy part to make here though. Their 4 ton up has them made here!
Have not looked for USA made casters but if their 4 ton up has USA made wheels, that should be an easy part to get here too?
