If you're lifting overhead I wouldn't go HF, just not worth the risk IMO. I usually order through Mcmaster, slings are cheap unless you're lifting crazy heavy.

This^^^ I’d never risk my worker’s safety to HF slings.

"LiftAll" are the best slings out there with dozens of options in styles, load range, materials,etc.

McMaster Carr I believe carries Tuflex roundslings. Have used them on a hundred or more personal and professional rigging and lifting jobs with no issues.

With any woven product, one must take care to protect the sling from chafing over sharp metal edges. Also not appropriate to ground the load on top of the sling and then try to rip it out sideways....

Other really good things to have are anchor shackles with screw-pins. I always buy them in pairs.

My free advice is to resist the temptation to buy eyebolts unless its used on a single vertical pick like an electric motor and instead buy swiveling hoist rings that align with the load path and don't have a fragile neck to bend or break.

Past that, one can make a lot of attachments with hot-bending and drilling flat bar plus typical Gr5 bolts.

Northern Tool and Equipment has a pretty good selection for a brick and mortar store. I trust their equipment more than HF... I use Northern Tool straps for towing my cars and motorcycles and they do well.

Amazon has an okay selection. Personally I quit buying stuff I have to trust from them a few years ago though. Now I buy them at the local industrial supply place.
