Ive had this MaxJax for about 3 years and it wont lift level. I have bled the cylinders multiple times and even changed the fluid. What I have noticed is that both cylinders move at the same time but the right aide lift arm seems to catch later on. Almost like there is a gap at some point. I have attached a video below.

Is the car centered between the uprights? Looks way offset to the right, but could be the angle.

It has always done this but sometimes it doesnt and lifts level but rarely. Both cyclinders lift together but just the base where the lift arms come out doesnt atart to move for a while. Almost like there is a gap between the cylinder and lift arm.

MIne occasionally lifts unevenly. If it gets too lopsided, I put a piece of lumber under the lift arm that is lower. I lower the lift and when the low side hits the lumber it stops it and the high side keeps lowering. I do that until it is even, and then raise again. Sometimes takes 2 or 3 times to get it to stay even. Used to do it more frequently than it does now.

I do that soemtimes too because ow it always lifts uneven. I can see the piston moving but it doesnt seem to grab the lifting arm until it lifts about 3” which offsets that side. Its almost like something is wrong with the piston and lift arm.

Mine has always done that. Sometimes when lifting I'll set it down on the auto lock then start again. I only do that once for a full lift.

Skamp posted on here about installing a flow control valve that allowed him to adjust the flow rate to the lift cylinder. It allowed him to dial in the flow rate so his lift was always dead on.

EDIT Found it in this thread - page 39, post 1,550

Common problem with the MaxJax that and the deadly shudder when lifting putting the add on flow control on the quicker side and John deer hyd additive mostly fixed mine. I always cycle mine 5 or 6 times when it has been disconnected and stored for a while but lets face it as what it is and where it is made.

So there's no air in either cylinder when you bleed them after cycling a few times?

Perhaps the flow divider has an obstruction...

Once the 'lazy' arm starts to rise,.. does it travel at the same speed as the good arm, or slower?
