As Joe B. mentioned, 11% is back on. Make sure if you bought anything in the last week (or is it 2 weeks?) that you ask for a 11% Rebate Price Adjustment at the rebate counter for your prior purchases. Just need to send in your original receipt with the slip.

well, I suspect it will come back for this week. I'm going to keep an eye on it. I'm assuming the rebate folks are not working on Sunday and that they are ethical enough not to figure out ahead of time what Menard's rebates are.

while at menards today i saw a small display of "snap-on" pen lights... appearance and specs look like a streamlight stylus pro but at $12 which is a few bucks cheaper than amazon

I've bought 6 of these and all of them had switch go bad. Haven't had the problem with the actual stream light

A coworker of mine told me last night to try the soup but I havnet yet. I have gotten the salsa Mix from there and it was good, ramen noodles, and some of the snack sticks. All good. I buy more food there than I should ever admit.

If anyone is interested for future knowledge, I had to install a hotwater heater today and purchased it from HomeDepot, using a Lowes 10% off mover coupon. I'm going to see if I still get the 11% rebate on top of that. I wont complain if I don't get the rebate, but this could add up to some pretty good savings if so. FYI the Lowes 10% off movers coupon I received at the post office now is just a flier with a code that you enter online and they e-mail you the 10% off code, however my HomeDepot just accepted the flier and gave me 10% off. Saved about 44$ after everything.

Lets keep the home depot deals in the home depot thread.
Menards deals wise, the new flyer doesn't have much, except the diamond naturals dog food. The grain free version is the only thing that keeps my dog from stinking up the house, and it doesn't go on sale very often so ill be stocking up.

11% off everything starts again on Sunday. No bag required. They've been doing the 11% off sale a lot lately.

Has anyone tried to get HD to price match Menards and then do the 11% rebate also? I want to buy a shed, menards price 999: 889.11 after rebate. HD price 1200. If i can get HD to beat 999 by 10% and then fill out the 11% rebate..

I know I got HD to price match something from lowes and I want to say that I got the 11 percent back still. Menards and HD have sheds of the same brand/manufacture? If not good luck with price matching or especially beating their price by the 10%..... They always have the fine print of "identical item"

Edit****if I found the shed your looking at they do carry the same identical shed....is this a shed they have in stock at your local store because the rebate match is for in store purchases only

I wish they'd do the 20% off bag deals more often. Thats when you can score some really good deals on things that don't go on sale often.

Yeah it says in stock at both Menards and HD. so maybe it is worth a shot?

I found last year that Lowes will price match HD black friday prices.. -10%. While every HD store nearby was sold out of the ladder I wanted, I walked right into lowes and walked out 5 min later

When is the best time to buy fasteners and other misc hardware? I've been meaning to stock up on some stuff, and the last couple of times I've been in Menards I couldn't help but buy some containers of screws at full price. I'll be stopping in this week to get the 11% price match, but that's still not a super deal.

Good prices on BluBird 3/8" 50' air hose $12.45 after rebate and the same hose with hose reel for $44.99. I've had the 50' hose for a year or so and it's pretty decent, stays flexible when cold and has held up around my garage and through one roofing project. The reel looks the same as the harbor freight one, and this hose is much better than the red rubber one HF puts on their reels, good price for a reel/hose combo.
