Are those ribs any good? I've seen them in the freezer case before and wondered.

I think so,, take them out of the freezer the day before and put them in the fridge. Wrap them in aluminum foil and either put in oven or on grill. Eat as is or slather on a little more bbq sauce. These are the baby back ribs, which I think are much better than the st louis style ribs (no offense to St Louisy)

They are decent, especially at that price.

Headed to Menards now. I'll see if I can convince the GF to give them a try.

Rib's aren't bad. I can cook or smoke a better rack, but these are cheaper, and obviously much less work. Not top of the line but they don't taste like ****. pretty good really. We eat them several times a year.

Just got an email about "Welding deals":
How bad do you think this cart is? 24$!?

Saw it in the Christmas ad and was gonna buy one for my brother for his little welder but when I went to get it I realized it was an order only item.

Let us know if you get it and how it is. I thought about using one and mounting one of my garage heaters on it.

I've never had an issue with the prehung doors lol

They were on sale so I bought 5. They loaded them and when I got home and and removed some cardboard I noticed the jambs are MDF wrapped in vinyl like shelf paper. I returned them. I can't imagine how that wrap would bubble when nailed. Seems it would get all nicked and scratched and then be unpaintable. The slab itself looks fine and they even come prefinished. If you want a prehung with primed pine door jambs at Menards you have to order it. Lowes and HD stock them and even in different styles. Menards really fails on that one.

I put one of their cheap steel Entry doors in my garage. Nice door for the money.

Yeah, I don't care for the mdf. I install them with a finish nail gun, if I get bubbles I either chip them out, fill them and paint over them or I said them down and paint them. Fyi they have a sheet with the matching paint to their prefinished stuff. I am going with the solid jams on our bedroom and bathroom where they get more use. Switching over to white doors right now, have only done the closets and basement so far

Crazy Days sale add, lots of good Irwin wood bits on sale.

Plus ROOTBEER!

This truly old fashioned soda has the rich, creamy flavor that only comes from using pure Wisconsin honey direct from the combs. Our extracts are prepared at the brewery in a hand-made, gas-fired brew kettle, by combining honey, pure vanilla and a host of aromatic botanicals. The dark, honeyed brew will build a delicious, frothy head when properly poured into a frosted mug.

I hope you picked up something. I don't remember ever seeing as many rebates deals as they currently have running. The rebate slip rack at the one I went to this morning had about triple what it would hold.

I went out and bought a set after seeing this post. They were not marked down on the shelf tag, but they rang up at the discounted price with a rebate.
These are not standard cobras 87-01-250. They are the Quickset version with the blue button 87-21-250. This version does not lock into one setting. It is a discontinued model. The new version has a red button and will lock. The model number remains the same for both versions. For $15 after rebate, I think I will keep them.
This Real Tool Review shows the difference between them.

Real tool reviews are great. Very thorough. He does a great job on Ridgid tools too.

I bought a set of them too. I think for the price the blue button won't be a problem.

gearwrench set 19.99 metric and sae. Sku 2370491 and 2370493 . Don't like that Apex went all GW but it's a good deal. Got a set years ago don't know if the quality has improved any. They are in my home box and don't get used.

Just fyi.. can't remember if it's been brought up bit my Menards has just about every Irwin drill bit kit on clearance/heavy sale on the end caps... great time to buy a spade bit kit or cobalt kit... got a cobalt drill bit set for 19 plus the 11 off. Heck of a deal IMO, and the spade bit sets are going cheap too

Hey guys, I've been away from here too long. Ive been annoyed with Menard's of late. Three trips in a row to my store over about 6 weeks I buy something with the sale sign on it, get to checkout and done, then get home to find either it didn't ring up on sale at all or else if a rebate item, didn't ring up on sale or print the rebate. Have to go make a return trip and return the full price " sale" item. It is extremely annoying and deceptive business practice. You might say oh its a mistake. Three times in three trips to the store. Three different items " on sale". There is no interest in removing old sale signs. In one case, never on sale items were put in the spot for the sale items, just slightly different so you don't notice as they ran out of the actual sale item. I'm shopping much less at Menard's now. Rebates also take forever to arrive, easily 2-3 x as long as it used to take. - Paul

Maybe something is wrong in the system for that particular store? I've literally never had that problem, and I've never waited more than 6 weeks ish for a rebate (which is stated in the form so that's fine with me)... best of luck to you in the future, maybe contact the store manager or corporate

On the other hand after the last 11% I sent in a bunch of rebates, several of which were expired (6 weeks) and one that I didn't have the slip for. They paid them all.

Well, HD and Lowes never have sales or rebates on anything useful. Your best bet is to pay attention as a consumer/buyer at the checkout.

I've never had a single sale price problem...And I shop there A LOT. Very often I will know of a sale but the shelf does not indicate it. I pay attention at checkout but have never had to say anything because it has always rang up at the sale price.

Who knows, maybe some douchebag lawer group will start a class-action suit and everyone will get a few bucks from Menards

ditto..i average about 5-8 trips a week there (dont work too far from there so i even buy my milk and such there, and don't forget the jacks pizza)... your best bet is to check your receipt before leaving.

Three different items " on sale". There is no interest in removing old sale signs.

so basically they are leaving up the old expired sale signs and then you're accidentally buying based on those bogus signs?

that's specific to your local store as our store is pretty good about updating signage. I would consider talking to the manager there and letting them know. Especially if it's a specific department within the store.

In every Menards I've ever been to there's is a disclaimer on the sale and price with rebate signs stating the dates of the sale and that price is not valid after a certain date

Especially if it's a specific department within the store.

That's more than likely the exact problem. Fire off an email or two to corporate with the specific store location and watch things get fixed real fast, whether the problem is a specific department or the whole store. Eventually the email will make its way to the right person. Bigwigs like to throw their authority down the ladder.

The only time I had a problem is I went there late on Saturday evening and they were changing out the tags. Something wasn't on sale until Sunday, but it had a sale tag. I said something during checkout and they gave me the sale price.
