If anyone still has clearance Irwin stuff it now appears to be coming up at less than the marked price. I bought up enough impact driver bits of various types to keep me stocked for a while.

Where can I see ad ahead of time? I used to get it in paper saturday morning at my old house. Now that I moved I'm lucky if I get it sunday afternoon if at all.

I see it from the local free weekend paper delivered to my house. I often will look online saturday morning to see the sunday ad too.

Sunday ad isn't online saturday morning and whenever they come out with last minute crazy day sales I never receive the paper ad until after the fact but most of the time it isn't even in the free paper that was delivered a day late.

The only time I've encountered a time where a sunday ad isn't online saturday morning(7am) is when there's an 11% off sale going on that'll end or begin. Maybe it's different here in MN?

That way you can't overlap 11% with a regular rebate. A lot of times I find them posted and rebates will ring up on Friday when the ad doesn't come out until Sun.

The ad is always there when I wake up Saturday morning, must post sometime between Friday midnight and 6am Saturday morning, that is assuming there is a new ad

theres one store, somewhere in Indiana if I remember right, that posts the ad well in advance of the day it starts. sd had that info. been awhile since I have messed with menards tho so that may no longer be accurate info, but I bet ppl on sd would know.
you used to be able to overlap sales bc the new ad would show up at your doorstep on sunday but you could go online Saturday and scope the new ad AND when you went to the store on Saturday the yet-to-be-advertised sale had < covertly > already started... they would be real stingy with the yet to be released ad too, but I had a few of the girls wrapped around my finger and they would slip me the ad on saturdays

They switch from store to store. It has been three different stores already this year. Why? I don't know. I would guess it gets posted enough times and corporate makes them follow the schedule.

Their regular sales (not 11% rebate) will run Sunday thru Sunday,unless 11% begins the next week, then the sale runs Sunday thru Saturday. So if there are two weeks in a row without 11%, both ads will be in effect on Sunday.


I don't receive the print ad until Tuesday. Here, it comes with the free shopper that most people get by mail. About once a month, the shopper doesn't come at all. A friend at the post office told me one mail carrier simply won't deliver it, and he apparently gets away with it.

Actually they are. They have been saying next week is an 11% since last week. Usually you can tell those by the start/end dates. They are not released early when they are before/after an 11% to make sure there is minimal overlap.

Anybody recall when they have good sales on special order doors? The one I want was on sale a week ago, and now it's basically the same price with just the 11% rebate. I seem to remember them being on sale before during the 11% rebate. I just wonder what time of year they do this. Seems to me it was the spring time.

Anyone remember ordering a door at sale price during 11%?

Not a hot deal..but...

In the world of cheap 72" toolboxes, I was actually fairly impressed with this one in store. Felt sturdier than some of the past Montezuma budget 72" boxes.

If it were to drop to ~$500 I would say it's worth picking up if you are looking.

I don't have it in hand. They are already posting the free after rebate and 99c deals other places. Starts Fri. Nothing special. It looks like more of the same deals they keep running.

There is also a Christmas one out I think it is active today.
