Right... all I know is they run my favorite home improvement chain with a generous return policy and easy warranty on things they carry, which results in me spending lots of money there.

Dont know if it's been said but I still had to get a separate rebate form for the 11percent adjustment for the 2 weeks prior

What’s the verdict on these helmets- are they decent for the cost?

So far i would say yes, used it twice at work. First was some welding, definitely like the bigger screen. Second time was for torching and grinding, I do like the grind mode, my previous two helmets did not have that. There is quite a bit of adjustment in the head straps too, can get a nice fit.

Thanks for the info!
I went to my local store yesterday with every intention of picking one up. However, I found that to coincide with the 11% rebate, they raised the “clearance price” from $69.99 to $79.99.
The 11% doesn’t make up for the increased price.
They have them up on a way top shelf where you hardly notice them, I think I’ll wait and see what happens....

On a positive note, I did pick up the previously mentioned Flexilla air impact/ hose kit for $69.99 and will get 11% back on that. Seems like a really nice setup for the cost! :)

I just checked my local store and it is on clearance for $59.99 and the listing shows an additional 11 percent rebate for a total price of $53.39.
I may swing by and pick one up, my local store has 5 left according to the phone app.

Is that the welding helmet or the impact set?

Aren’t all home improvement stores to close in Michigan? I’ve been so detached from the press due to working many 12’s in a row lately.

No, but they are limited on what they can sell and advertise on sale.

As Wyoming posted above, Menards is still allowing online sales/pickup to skirt around the rules.

Also, as far as I've read, smaller stores do not have the same restrictions as the large stores. So if you need carpet or paint you can probably still find a retailer to buy from. I'm halfway through a remodel so this is making things interesting.

Hmmmm I’ll be stopping at mine tomorrow morning. Seems like every week it’s more intense; their policies are starting to mimic medical Centers. I’m liking the “no kids” rule.

Yep love my HD and they give a military discount that Menards does not. Also have wounded vet parking.

Hey fellas... Please remember we don't do politics here... And I consider the mask vs no mask thing to be that, unfortunately... and as such, we aren't having that debate here.

Thanks,

R.

Thanks for keeping a rein on this type of thing! Makes it much more pleasant to be around here.
