I've been trying to figure out who makes Menard's Masterforce and Tool Shop brands of tools. Heres what I've figured out.
Masterforce Pliers are the same as HFs Pittsburgh Pros just with different green rubber handles. However there are more pliers in the Masterforce line than there Pittsburgh Pro line. Such as a 11" long reach pliers thats a copy cat of the craftsman.
Masterforce Screwdrivers are the new style of Pratt-Read screwdrivers (saw the same style of pratt-reads at Fleet-Farm)
Masterforce Powertools I'm not sure who makes them but I believe there the same as Tractor Supplys Masterhand brand.
Masterforce Tool Chest I believe are made by these guys http://www.tetools.com/
As far as Masterforce's tapes, knifes, hammers, etc.. I'm still trying to find out.
I have no idea who makes the Masterforce sockets and ratchets. Could be the same as TSC Masterhand however I think Masterhand is made in Taiwan and Masterforce is China.
Now the Tool Shop line is the same regular HF stuff. I believe things like pliers, sockets, wrenchs, and some of the ratches to be rebagged HF stuff. I know Tool Shop power tools are the same as HF. I have a jig saw that is Tool Shop and saw the same thing at HF today just orange.
Of course Menards sell's Allen brand of ratchets, sockets, and wrenchs but we all know those are Danaher, looks the same a KD stuff which looks alot like Craftsman. Besides the Allen ratcheting wrenchs which looked like maybe Gearwrench? all I know is there made in Taiwan.
