Except the aftermarket kits mostly have sae hardware.dern automobiles, electronics, imported furniture, and most everything else is metric.
Metric is most common with modern farm equipment.
Hello.
It is my first post on here.
Want to hear how do people in U.S. think about subject.
For me in Japan, it is 99% Metric in any situation.
Please let me know!
Thank you!
I always hate those. You never quite know if they are meant to be metric or SAE or if they are just poorly sized. You ever get those fasteners that don't seem to fit either metric or SAE particularly well? The ones that have a ton of draft angle on the sides of the hex? I don't know if it's just because of the cold heading process or if they mean to give you a fastener that's one size at the base and another at the top. Usually found on cheap lawn mowers and patio furniture.
Buy a pliers wrench. Well, you'll actually need two.The only thing i use my SAE stuff for anymore is changing my tool air fittings.
Thankfully.
