I recently retired and bought a MIG welder. The last time I did any welding I was 15 years old on a stick welder.
My first project was to make a cart for my welder and tank after spending hours under a helmet practicing and learning how to weld with a MIG. My next projects are two welding tables to use in the shop. This spring I will be replacing all of my wooden railings with steel ones, so that will keep me busy.
After building houses and doing cabinets and woodwork for the last 35 years, along with my other full-time job, I am really enjoying welding. I will pick up an AC/DC stick welder and relearn stick welding too. Love the forum and have learned a lot and still learning every day. Thank you.
