One more wall finished. Got the pieces cut to do the outsides of the garage doors. Just need to wire up my new exterior lights then can insulate and cover that. Then just need to get above the doors.

A really nice shop!! I love the vintage drill press restore and the block grinder as well.
You have it set up well and the projects are very well done. Looking forward to more of your work being shown!!

Thanks and Best Regards

Got the outside lights wired up, and the walls are almost finished, hoping to get above the other garage door tomorrow and the walls will be all done until I paint them next summer. Want to leave them unfinished for a year to make sure I don't need to add anything else before I caulk and paint. Should probably get some more rooms in the house finished before I paint the garage to keep the wife happy.

Worked all weekend so didn't make any progress IN the garage. Spent a lot of time thinking and researching air line systems to put a few drops in around the garage. After looking at prices I'm currently looking at copper lines. Anyone know if the push connect fittings can handle air line use? My compressor is set at 115 psi.

Edit: fittings at menards are rated to 200 psi.

Sharkbite ( the best push connect ) is rated at 200 PSI AT 200 degrees = I wouldn't place a push connect fitting coming right out of the compressor, I'm not 100% sure it sees 200 degrees, but it will see the most temp with the most vibration right off the compressor.

I'll get a pic of what I have coming out of the compressor now. I started it with black pipe. Hydraulic line coming out of the compressor into a 1/2" filter, then out to a couple tees with a drain valve, quick connect then a valve to go to the lines when I get them.

Cleaned up the back corner tonight and hung the air hose reel. Will start on plumbing some airlines once I start getting the ceiling panels up

Got the pegboard from menards this weekend. Was on sale. I have another 32" piece that will replace the one the cordless tools go on against the shelf to the left.

Got the right spacers for the double gang receptacles this weekend and got them finished up tonight. Then finally got to use my Kreg jig to build my first cabinet tonight. My 24x24x48 for over the air compressor. The 1x4 face and doors will be added later. Hopefully I can get some help hanging it this week

I really like the sawhorse design you used, and the folding table etc, all very good ideas I am going to use them if you do not mind!

Keep up the great work, I also do not mind the look of the non-painted OSB I think it looks good for a working garage... Not all garages need drywall and paint.

I'm planning on painting the ceiling yet this year as it gets finished and then the walls next year once I have some time to use the garage and make sure I am happy with the placement of all of the outlets. Also plan on facing the workbench, shelf to the left and finishing the wall cabinets over the winter

Didn't get as much accomplished tonight as I had planned. Fall harvest has started around here so my helpers where busy until after dark and where tired when they got here so we hung one sheet and the big cabinet. Dad is coming back out in the morning to help me hang a few more sheets since he has the day off and I work 2nd.

I keep wondering why the empty space between the tool box and compressor. Seems shoving the box down another 2'+/- woulda gave you more counter space as well under counter storage. Garbage can seems to move around anyways?

I'd also hope doors on the under counter space to further clean up the lines.....

Just my opinion is all.

This was the original plan. That space is where the floor jack will go once I get that tank out of there. Once I get the ceiling done I'll be finishing the cabinets and facing the workbench with doors.

Yes. The part that already has some flooring on it has some batts under it and the rest will get blown when I get the ceiling done.

Picked up a winter project for $100. Need to get the lock working, and finish out the inside for a gun safe and possibly paint the outside.

Finally finished hanging the other 2 lights back up after I finished painting it almost 4 weeks ago. I knew the painted ceiling would make a difference but not that it would make that big of a difference

Loving it so far. It looks like you used OSB on the ceiling and then primed/painted it. Any plans to do the same for the walls?

I'm asking because I rebuilt my 20 x 25 garage over the summer and used OSB for the walls and finished priming and painting them in white this weekend, and the difference in light is remarkable. Haven't done anything with my ceiling yet.

Nice work.

Planning to paint the walls next summer. Wanted to make sure I was happy with the electrical layout before I caulked the seams and painted over the screw heads.

Started on the garage door opener. Oscillating tool was making too much noise so I had to stop for the night.

Unloaded some plywood I picked up with some Christmas money for the garage. After everyone else went to bed I went out and worked on the 2-32" wall cabinets to go between the windows. All of the shelves after this pretty much just fill the gaps. I've used CDX on the other cabinet and shelf so picked up more for these and this batch defineatly sucked. May have to redo these later with some better wood. Or put some more screws in. They will be filled with bondo and painted on the outside.

Had a few minutes to go out and play... I mean work in the garage before going to work. Got the stereo hooked back up, and mounted the tv. A little off center, might have to get a new mount, and/or bigger tv. Just need to finish the shelves over the windows then ready to start on doors.

Got a little more done last night. Got the far right cabinet faced, and added some more 2x4 to the bench to get it ready for doors. Will hopefully be able to get some more material to get the 2 shelves done over the window and get started on the doors next week. Also picked up a new to me 14" bandsaw from a coworker. Needs a little tlc, and new table reunion, tires and blade.
