...........................................HAPPY NEW YEAR.........................................................

Just noticed I have a fence post leaning. (&**&&^
. One hit me on the back of my arm and I was sore for 3 days. I waged war and now I only have seen 2, sneaky little bastards will chase you. Mrs. Cat got quite a chuckle watching me do the BEE dance.
. I'll post when I get the floor built. Mike

pains me about the pandemic, first Buffett concert I can remember was late 70s. Need I say more. Want to grow veggies for the neighbors and who ever needs it. Im just a old hippy and proud of it, with a pain in my...Hey that could be a song.
I do have some pains I wish I could get rid of.
I was first introduced to his music on a road trip in 1980.
About a 4 hour trip and all we had was the 'You had to be there" double 8-track.
I was hooked.
Only been to 2 concerts, Alpine Valley in '95 and Knoxville, Tn in '97.
Sound system was terrible at both, we actually left Alpine before the concert was over. It was physically painful to listen.
Knoxville wasn't as bad, the songs were ok, but when he would talk, it was so muddled, it was unintelligible.
I'm kinda to the point that I avoid crowds, so my concert days are pretty much behind me.
Now I just play his concert videos on the flat screen and crank up the stereo!
Not quite the same, but the beer is cheaper and there's hardly ever a line for the bathroom!
Looking forward to seeing how the garden grows.
Gonna be a year round thing or seasonal?
Agreed!
The parking lot before the show is the highlight.
At Alpine, we were the 6th car in.
It was awesome.
We had a Plymouth Voyager minivan that we had taken the seats out of with the plan being sleep in the parking lot after the show.
Since we left early, we ended up getting a room in the 1st motel we found.
In Knoxville, my wife's BIL, a non-drinking cop, drove.
It was awesome. I could drink all I wanted, and his ID/Badge got us great parking and the express lane out of the parking lot mess afterwards.
Given the right circumstances, driver, rooms, etc. I might try another one.
Never say never!

These were 26 bucks when I ordered them last year.
$74 15 months later.
I'm in the wrong business.Mike, I feel for you. I had Allstate Insurance about 56 years ago. Always paid my premiums on time and thought I was in "Good Hands." I couldn't afford comprehensive coverage but it probably didn't matter because our car was 17 years old. Liane lost control of the '47 Ford and barrel-rolled 3 times. Her passenger wasn't hurt until two days later when he and his wife decided to contact Allstate. He said he stayed home for two days because of a crook neck. I offered to pay him a week's pay ($150) but he said he would be looking for a much bigger payout. Allstate settled for $80 and tripled my premium for the next three years. If your local Mafia offers insurance I suspect you would be in equally "Good Hands."
Because we don't have a mortgage, I can set my own coverage on our homeowner and wind (hurricane) insurance. I have a $13,000 deductible on the policy because I learned how little damage can result in a licensed contractor exceeding that amount. "They don't make the cabinets you scorched above the stove anymore so your whole kitchen will have to be re-done."
When hurricane Wilma tore up our screen enclosure over the pool, the screen guy quoted $34,000 because it would all have to come down and be rebuilt to the new code. I bought the aluminum and fixed it myself for less than $300. Had it re-screened for another $900.

Best part was not having to call my insurance company. Two minutes after one calls their insurance company to report a claim, the bank calls to ask if your checking account has been compromised.
Mike, I bought the screen for the walls from Home Depot. Got the aluminum framing from a place in Lake Worth FL. I had a pro do the roof panels and had to go inside when they started walking across the 2x8 beams like it was a stroll in the park. Well, stroll in the park hunched over with a roller in your hand.I think I want to do the UV greenhouse screen in my little 12x12. Where did you get yours? Mike
Insurance guy is probably getting a "finders fee" from his contractor. Or the contractor may owe him money and he is trying to funnel work to him to clear his account.
Suggest you try an independent insurance agency that represents several different companies. He can shop your insurance to the different companies and get you the best deal and he is not obligated to the company he works for.
Good luck!
