I think I want to buy a Milwaukee impact wrench. They have so many options!
I have a couple projects coming up. Looks like now I have to pull a transmission and do it somewhere away from my house and my compressor.
I also will be pulling an engine and trans out of another truck and swapping that into my Jeep, but that will be done in my garage. So I am thinking about getting a Milwaukee impact. My plan was to buy an Astro 3/8" stubby and another 1/2" impact to use at home but having to do a transmission R&R away is changing my needs a little.
Right now I only have a set of 10(?)-19mm 1/2" deep impact sockets. So I need more of those either way.
What I am looking at is the 2554-20 3/8" stubby or 2555-20 1/2" stubby. Both are M12 and listed as 250ft/lbs.
Looking at my needs would one be better than the other? Or is there another Milwaukee model that might be better based on the above?
I have both M12 and M18 batteries and chargers so no need to worry about battery systems.
Any thoughts appreciated!!
