Looks like the bare tool is ~$350 (half the price), before discounts. Are two batteries (12.0 and 8.0) and a charger worth $350???

Please tell me I'm missing something here...

Mike

I thought that too, but arguably they are worth it. Usually see 8's go for $110-130 & 12s for $180-190 in the grey market. The dual bay rapid goes for around $80 as well.
So I wouldn't feel you are over paying, at least for the battery/charger portion.

If I didnt need them now, I would try for a better deal on the bare tool as well, but this kit isn't as badly priced as others.

I was supposed to pick mine up last night, but timing pushed it tonight. That's the first I read it had the same motor, which is awesome. Biggest complaint on the 16" is the body is so dang big. They had to make a new case just for its unnecessary back end.

But I picked up the top handle in store, and really loved the feel.

Personally, a universal offer, like a credit card signups, isn't really a deal per se. Yesterday Acme had $100 off $500 for Milwaukee, though I couldn't tell you if they had that item part of it. Then there was also cash back from shopping plugins.

If it just so happens there is a good credit card offer at the time, great, but if the sticker price isn't being initially brought down, it really isn't a deal on that item.

ToolNut has it for $50 off. Litterly got a text to their sale when typing this.
But now you can take that, and price match thru Home Depot, and THEN get your credit bonus savings.

Thanks for the tips. I was hoping to go through HD because of a $100 gift card I have. So theoretically I would get the kit for $550 instead of $700. It's been a while since I've asked, but our HD won't price match online/internet prices from other companies.

The $100 off at Acme is still active with code JUMPRED and they do have the 2826-22T kit

While the store, if they followed their low price policy, would in fact match Acme & many other retailers. They really don't know their elbow from their a...earhole when it comes to it.
But you can easily match by chatting with an agent online. I've done quite a few this last month.

Thanks for the JUMPRED update, though I think my 3 orders last night were enough

That Acme place is $$$$$ on shipping.
Wanted $70 to ship an M12 sprayer.

Where are you shipping to? Most I've ever paid is $6.49.

I'd grab the 2 gallon that has free shipping. Might as well get more product for your dollar. Or if you prefer, find something to pad the order, and put the shipping towards something you need/want.

It's $70 shipping.

Got one from ebay for $135 shipped.

Would have just bought at Homeless Depot, but they don't sell most of the decent m12 and m18 stuff here and won't ship it in.

ouch Alaska shipping costs. Maybe I can't complain about CA sales tax anymore.

Grease Gun w/ CP2.5 battery $129

I might pull the trigger on the HD special on the grease gun. Seems like a good deal?

I shipped something to Anchorage about a decade ago that was similar in size to that sprayer. UPS ground and Fedex ground were both right about $225. Luckily, USPS Priority Mail was around $50.

Maxtool has some pretty good bare tool deals on sale this weekend. I got the M18 searchlight M12 rover and M18 fan for 191$ total after signing up for a 20$ coupon. Better pricing than I had been seeing for those, dunno if they are best deals out there or not. Some of the other sale prices were not great.

This is posted in the Homeless Depot Clearance thread but I think it belongs here.

Link

M12 Right Angle Die Grinder, 5.0 AH Battery, 2.5 AH Battery, Charger + Free Gift 2.5 AH Battery for $199.

Can return the free battery and get the tool, 2 batteries, and charger for ~$150, or just enjoy the 3 batteries.

How can you tell that these prices are Sat only? Looking at the Surge and showing $149 (now) but cannot find any mention of a sat deal.
Indeed, Special of The Day. There will be a count down timer below the price ending midnight PST. Sometimes there will be an fixed expiration date on a special buy. Some of those tool deal came around again a few days ago, so I think HD may be cycling the deal on and off.

If you are looking just for the batteries, you might as well buy the router or jigsaw for $199.

‘Preciate it Crabman. This will finally give me the capacity to finish the yard whether I’m using the chainsaw, hedge trimmers, or weed eater.
The chainsaw really does need the HO batteries. When I ran my 12.0 down, I tried a 9.0 and it went into over heat protection SUPER fast, less than 5 min of use. I swapped to my 6.0 and was able to finish all the remaining cuts and the thing was fine. The 9.0 really is the ******* child of the bunch.

Hmm. I have a 9.0, but I’m not sure its been used in the chainsaw yet. I’ll have to watch it. Thanks for the tip.

Looking for a great deal on the M12 rivet tool. I see it on Amazon for 221.50 but truly hate giving that juggernaut my money.

I see the 2 x 6.0 and 2 x 8.0 deal for $299 is back up to $398 on the HD website. Hopefully we will get another shot at them for BF or otherwise.

In the meantime, Northern Tool, Ace and Amazon (non retail packaging) and perhaps others have 2 x 3.0 for $99 today, which is as low as I see them go. My faves for smaller tools.

Looking for a deal on some M18 12.0 batteries this week. I’d be ok if it were with a deal on their lawn mower.

I waited quite a while for 12.0 deals, but never came across anything worth while. No, I didn’t look at tool package deals, because there are none that I need. But I finally broke down last week and bought one from Amazon. $180 - 5% with their card.

Here is the Milwaukee stuff
