Might be worth returning that to HD if the extra 20% off Acme makes senseNothing, my M18 hatchet came in yesterday!

What is the code or deal for the 20% off?Despite my rant in the addiction thread about holding off to buy Forge batteries I just bought some (at under $10 per amp hour!!!). In continuing to break my Milwaukee drought, I just managed to spend $400 at Acme to take advantage of the stack and save coupon. So you guys managed to hurt my wallet.
I was going to buy that packout dust separator on preorder, but no go with the stacksave.

Am debating going back for more. Hatchet comes out at $155ish with an 8.0 Forge @ $10 per amp hour. Do I really need both the hatchet and the top handle saw?lots of batteries for short money and the M18 hatchet

Maybe expired?
I don’t know how to set this up but.. for a long time I would get texts for the deal of the day stuff. I don’t remember setting that up or know why it ended. But if you can that might be the ticket.Ok, I’m not savvy on Reddit, really don’t go on it. Not wanting to miss another deal like this how can I become in the know? Appreciate any guidance!
Honestly it’s not really worth it. The deals seem to come up randomly about once every month or two and people on Reddit hit it hard for a couple hours and corporate realizes the mistake and starts canceling orders.Ok, I’m not savvy on Reddit, really don’t go on it. And risk getting banned if you do get the deal, a lot of people are reporting getting online bans, and some in-store bans, for ordering on the glitches. And you got to risk wasting your time to stop everything to go there and have the order canceled by the time you get there.

Best Buy, Staples and others have done that too.HD is BANNING people over THEIR system errors??? Now that's just stupid. That's the nicest word I can think of to describe that...

More for exploiting an obvious error, that is theft.HD is BANNING people over THEIR system errors??? Now that's just stupid. That's the nicest word I can think of to describe that...

Yes, correct. There are people serving time for exploiting these kinds of glitches, though typically they don't prosecute unless a person does it a lot. Classic case is the teens that exploited a gift card glitch.Theft?
That may not work, they correlate address, credit card, etc.Should I setup an HD burner account under my spouse?!?
and don't forget a new IP addressThat may not work, they correlate address, credit card, etc.
The only successful fix others have reported is a completely new credit card at a completely different address with a different name.

Banning customers is the more common penalty. Most of the companies are using the same third party companies that aggregate data to identify patterns of behavior that cost stores money and profit. Bad enough to be banned from HD, but people are even more upset when they find they have also been banned from Lowes, TSC, Amazon, etc. for that one situation.
The battery return "game" is perfectly legal when you purchase in store and the items are separate SKUs. They are listed on the receipt with a prorated max return value for each item. If the receipt stated something along the lines of "all items included in promo must be returned to receive a refund" it would be different. The battery return game is closer to "theft" than coming across a great deal, there's a much better case that there's actual intend to defraud.
R/milwaukeetoolWhat’s the sub Reddit that covers Milwaukee deals?
