I didn’t pay much more for the new version with some batteries on a Home Depot special buy of the day this winter. Both are good sanders, but the new version is more productive.man they're trying to give those away now.

Thanks. I picked up the ratchet as a spareso my sons and I can do engine bay tear downs quicker. Also picked up the drywall rotary tool.Milwaukee on Woot

Some good, not great, deals.M18 5ah 2/$100, 6ah 2/$150,for example.
2457 M12 ratchet $64
Woot is not an authorized retailer so while the products are legit, the warranty is off manufactured date, not purchase date, so you lose a few months off a 36 month/60 month warranty.
(Although Milwaukee's warranty seems to be worth much less now anyway.)
EDIT: batteries are sold out, still a few tools.
Works great as a dog nail trimmer too.
Thanks!Clark's Tools battery specials this weekend

What retailer did you use to get that Automotive rebate? There is also at least one rebate still active for a free tool when you buy qualifying batteries.
Rebates are here: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/E-Rebates
And the active one I used is here: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/E-Rebates/Auto/2025/Q3/2025-Q3-M12-BYOK
Was just going to mention that Milwaukee has declined my rebate requests when selecting Automotive and uploading the Clark's order confirmation. They approve the Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical Distributor ones no problem. What retailer did you use to get that Automotive rebate?
I've only succeeded in using the Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical Distributor rebates with Clark's purchases..
Right! I posted this in the Home Depot thread:Been waiting for a deal on this…
M12 1/2” Stubby Impact Wrench

I bought the batteries because of the sale price, and I needed them. Submitted the rebate as a "bonus". I'm still waiting for a response on the rebate. Was just going to mention that Milwaukee has declined my rebate requests when selecting Automotive and uploading the Clark's order confirmation. It would be nice to see a list of the authorized online retailers / categories they fall into.
The Automotive rebates don't make you select the retailer from the drop down but the Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical do, if I remember correctly.I bought the batteries because of the sale price, and I needed them. Submitted the rebate as a "bonus". I'm still waiting for a response on the rebate.
Interesting to note that when submitting it this time, I was not prompted to select the seller from a drop-down list as has happened in the past when submitting Milwaukee rebates. Perhaps Pinne is correct and this will be denied, will let you all know.
Sorry, I should have specified this is a hack. Just order the batteries from a different store, then either don’t pick them up or cancel that part of the order to get the “hacked” price on the impact.
It's not.Different deals, 1/2 vs 3/8.
Wonder why the 1/2 is cheaper than the 3/8??
That deal sold out in a hurry. Might have been an error where they accidentally combined two deals. This is also a nice deal if you need the free tool or 5.0 batteries. I’ve wanted the M12 stick pump for a while and can always use more high end batteries. I’ll sell off the oscillating tool as I already have one.

So, the 169 deal has the batteries under the same SKU as the Impact, so that you can't return them??It's not.
Two different deals for both.
Buy the stubby (1/2 or 3/8) with two (imo useless) 3.0 batteries for $169
Or buy either bare tool for $199 with free gift of two batteries, return the batteries, net price $121
Yes, that appears to be the caseSo, the 169 deal has the batteries under the same SKU as the Impact, so that you can't return them??
My Automotive rebate - with a purchase from Clarks - was approved today. The Automotive rebates don't make you select the retailer from the drop down but the Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical do, if I remember correctly.
That said, I just checked the rebate section this morning and they have added those M12 rebates to the Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical section. So you may have some luck just re-submitting there if you get denied.
Mine too, though I submitted under plumbing. Got 2 high output batteries for $120 plus shipping, and a free M12 transfer pump from Milwaukee. Not a bad day at all!My Automotive rebate - with a purchase from Clarks - was approved today.
Great deal! That’s probably easier than the oscillating tool/5.0 batteries/pump I ordered from Home Depot yesterday. I’ll need to sell the oscillating tool for $65 to match it.
You can buy a pair from Clark’s Tools for $135 shipped then collect a free tool from Milwaukee. What is a good price for a two pack of the M12 HO 5.0 Ah batteries? They are 249 at HD but I see them for 199 at Walmart from a 3rd party seller. Not sure if the Walmart ones are legit.
Got a link? I only see the singles for $129 on their site. You can buy a pair from Clark’s Tools for $135 shipped then collect a free tool from Milwaukee.
Thankfully the Milwaukee rebate team doesn't seem to be nit-picky.
Did you submit all on a single rebate form? Asking because the rebate terms say "Only one redemption per transaction", but (per your comment about them not being nit-picky) maybe that's not enforcedThankfully the Milwaukee rebate team doesn't seem to be nit-picky.
I emailed them awhile back about Automotive rebates and Clark's and they told me to use Plumbing/etc not Automotive.
Well I just used one Clark's receipt for 2 Plumbing rebates (bought 4 batteries) and for 1 Automotive rebate that (probably in error) wasn't also under Plumbing.
I wouldn't have been too upset if they denied the Automotive one (free cheapo batteries for buying a tool I was getting anyway).
But no. All three rebates approved with the hour.
p.s. I've also used Automotive for Waysource
