Did you submit all on a single rebate form? Asking because the rebate terms say "Only one redemption per transaction", but (per your comment about them not being nit-picky) maybe that's not enforced
One receipt from Clark's, 4 batteries and some other stuff.
Under Plumbing/etc selected the BUY (2) M12™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC5.0 BATTERY rebate
picked my free tool
Clicked on Add Redemption
picked 2nd free tool
uploaded receipt
That worked as expected.

Pleasant surprise was selecting a different rebate, different channel, uploading the same receipt, and having that work.

I think "Only one redemption per transaction" means you can't request two rebates on the same line item purchase, which makes sense.

That is better than what I did back in April with them. I figured “only one redemption per transaction” meant I needed to split the orders, so I paid the extra $15 shipping on the second order.

I emailed Milwaukee to ask for clarification - effectively each line item on a receipt or invoices qualifies for one rebate. I did multiple of the M18 6.0 2 pack rebates and an M18 5.0 2 Pack rebate all from the same receipt and it worked A-OK.

The images on the listing for the listing at Home Depot for the M12 5.0 2 pack with a charger still showed the free tool information as of last night even though the deal had long expired. All the tools in the listing showed on their product page that there was free item with them. People started reaching out to customer support and getting them to credit the amount since you couldn't do it yourself just by adding them to the cart. They quickly started catching on cause it hit reddit as well. They started giving smaller and smaller discounts before they shut it down. Was able to get $150 off my order and snag the batteries for $124 for the pair. Some people manged to get away with a pair for $100. Still not a terrible deal since I needed them to get the most out of my new stubby I picked up earlier in the day from the other hack. The listing was fixed this morning so it seems someone was likely woken up to fix the website last night and stop the bleeding haha.

Thanks to this group for the info on the Milwaukee promo and Clarke’s. I purchased 2 M12 5.0 batteries and submitted for the free Hatchet. The promo was approved about an hour after submission.

I didn’t see any terms/conditions listed for the promo. Does anyone know if they allow more than 1 submission?

Just took advantage of the Clark's deal and the HD 3/8 stubby deal to upgrade my gen1 stubby, so thanks for that tip.

I don't think I have any need for the tools in the rebate. Is there any feeling for which tool to grab to sell locally to bring the cost down?

At your own risk.
That is specifically prohibited by the terms of the rebate.
They're trying to support the people who actively use their tools.
They really aren't interested in flippers or other people trying to game the system and ruin it for everyone.

Fair. We might end up keeping the pruning saw, I'm just not sure how much use we would get out of it.

I'll have to weigh that against my hatred of marketplace.

I got denied when I submitted my clarks receipt under automotive. And I purchased 2 days before the start of the plumbing promo.

Oh well. Nothing I actually needed from the free tools but I wouldn't have minded trying out the hatchet.

Try submitting it again anyway, under plumbing promo. Nothing to lose ....

I looked at the Home Depot page for the M12 Stubby yesterday and I swear it was $199 with the free (2 pack) batteries. Went back today to purchase and it's listed as $229.

Did the price just go up or is my mind slipping a bit?

That deal was $169 with two 3.0 batteries when I ordered earlier this week and was $199 when I looked this morning.

We did decide to keep the pruning saw. Might not get used much for another year or so, but it will get used eventually. And of course I then figured I'd like to upgrade my non-fuel ratchet to the 2567, so two more batteries and a rebate in progress. Shouldn't really cost anything out of pocket after selling my old stubby and ratchet.

$169 with batteries would be an awesome deal. Wish I would have seen that. I'll have to keep checking to see if the price drops down again.

I saw there were two forms of the deal. Non-hackable bundle for $169 or the BOGO for $199. Maybe that's the discrepancy your seeing. The bundle is what my other post was referring to but it's now sold out.

I've been eyeing the M18 30 degree framing nailer. It's been $379 for a while; I was hoping for a sale. Today it's $429. I can still get the combo with safety glasses for $383, so might have to jump. Looks like there is a price hike afoot...

looks like finish nailers as well went up $20 on several models. If you want to buy at HD, they expanded their price matching to online retailers. Still some caveats, but the more matching that occurs, the more they will consider dropping prices.

So the 2 batteries came yesterday from Clarks, two days after order, very pleased.

No shipping confirm yet on the rebate stick pump.
I submitted mine on the 5th and just got the rebate shipping confirmation today a 1pm

I bought four batteries from Clarks on Friday (one receipt), and submitted the form that night. I had to do it through automotive, as the zip code (64119?) wasn't finding any dealers in the HVAC form. Is there another zip people are using? I saw recent comments that Clarks showed up in the drop down but couldn't get it to work. Not sure if there has been a change on the Milwaukee side.

Regardless, just got approved a few minutes ago through automotive. I assume they are being reviewed Mon-Fri Central Time hours.

15% off flash sale at Acme but the code is unique. If anyone needs it, I'll give you mine. Just send me a PM.

Ran into this issue with my second claim. Running it under automotive got denied. Contacted support and they responded that Clark's is listed under professional/retail, which based on their website would not be eligible. Sounds like I won't be able to make that one work.

That's unfortunate. It might be worth responding and pointing out that this image is at the bottom of every page on the Clark's site:

Seems unreasonable to deny a claim under "automotive" when the retailer describes themselves at an authorized distributor for Milwaukee car parts.

In the meantime, sounds like people should be aware that it's luck of the draw on approval unless Clark's starts showing under the HVAC drop down again.

I don't think we'll see much until the next round of sales when HD starts their Black Friday deals.

There are only a few Milwaukee deals going on currently.

There are only a few Milwaukee deals going on currently.

They run several promo's every quarter, with the current being August to October, give or take a couple days depending on the retailer (and not always going full quarter). And just about every retailer has a variation, or the exact same promo. HD does a poor job showing all the different promos going on. It's easier viewing the offerings if you visit another Milwaukee retailer online like Max Tool or Ohio Power Tool.
Some promo's can't last the entire quarter if they involve regularly stocked items, but when there is a starter kit, or the online retailer only has so much "promo stock" will you see it often end sooner.

Online, we have already seen buy 2x 5ah starter kit, get a free tool starting to roll out. Those same kits are just rolling into Depot (again) right now. They are actually priced at $100 , which is what they were clearanced out at from the last time they had them in store. Unfortunately, any BOGO promos are not live in the system as of today when I checked with several of the tools that will be part of the promo. There will also be a less tier with M12 2ah batteries, M18 2x 6ah HO batteries, and most likely a lesser tier M18 bundle. I watched stockers put all these up tonight.

Friend of mine sent me this today, he got it from SD:
Good deal on the M18 packout vac if you add the free battery and then return it.
I have that one waiting at store pickup. Switching to packout seemed like a good enough reason to upgrade from my old one.

Presumably lining up for a Labor Day sale (+/- a week or two)?
