Thanks for reporting on this. I was so close to buying 5 sets, but had an inkling this was likely the case

If you stumble across any BF items still in store, most have been reduced ~33%.

M12 subcompact combo - $97
M18 speaker + 3ah XC - $97
M18 top off + 3ah - $67

I'm thinking you might believe these are separate items put together.
These are items that were in one package.

The sub compact special had 6s instead of low amp 2s.

OK, now I'm confused.

I gathered that the M12 subcompact compbo was a kit with multiple items (I'm assuming that kit you linked above was it?).

I'm also assuming that the M18 speaker (w/battery), and the M18 topoff (w/battery) were two separate combos. Do you have links for those?

HD is showing the M12 kit as out of stock on the HD site. Is there a local inventory tracker that anyone trusts anymore? I stopped using Brick Seek when they started requiring people to register with personal info. Well, mostly because they wanted my ZIP code so they could automatically pick my closest store(s). The whole point of using that site (for me) is to be able to change ZIP codes so you can find other stores outside of my immediate area.

yes that was the kit. it was a BF deal because it had better batteries than usual. BS is the only inventory checker I know of unfortunately. While you it might have been part data collection for the login, I think it was also to curb 3rd part usage. Each time their is an product inquiry, resources on BS, and HD are being utilized. A single store is one thing, but when you can go way beyond, it is resources being consumed on...clearance products, at least usually the the case.

Bought the quik-lok rubber brush attachment today in Concord, CA for $115. Looks like no one is touching them. Plenty of them still left.

Bristle brush seems to be of a bit more utility. I tried the rubber brush for snow removal, and was alright, but between that & the little bit of grass clean up I'd use it for, wasn't worth the room in the garage.

If you do end up wanting the bristle brush, you can just buy the drums from a parts supplier, and swap those. Makes more sense if you can grab the bristle on clearance though

This Milwaukee kit for $59.97 was interesting. I didn't have time to do a side-by-side comparison, but I think this is the same Packout unit that sells for $36.97 (empty). As you can see in the pic, the vacuum attachments are "valued at" $59.97, so this would essentially be a free Packout box. It's not separable, so you wouldn't be able to return the vacuum attachments and keep the Packout.

There was only one left, and it seems to be gone now (at least, per the website).

Yea struggled with the use case on this one. For $115 I thought I would give it a shot. Would have for sure went with the bristle if it was on sale.

Have to be strong to use the bristle brush. I use it sometimes for sand in the driveway at the beach house.

The rubber paddle is great for removing gravel from your lawn in the spring, after a winter of pushing it there with the plow.

Probably don’t encounter that in SF, though.

Fortunately or unfortunately no snow here :) Planning to use it for spreading mulch and getting the wet sticky leaves off the driveway if the blower can't get them. We'll see it how it does

Noticing some HD deals on vacuum accessories until Feb 1st. Finally something to make these more affordable, even though I bought all of them already :(

Well the Clark's deal I posted fell through. Yous guys were right, they are no longer participating in the rebate program. Still a good deal on two 5.0 ah batteries I suppose.

I emailed Milwaukee about it and they are no longer on the automotive or plumbing rebate program. They are on the professional/retailer one.

Thanks for the follow up. Got my hopes up for a minute there but the battery rebate isn't part of the Professional/retailer rebates.

I did check and they are definitely part of that rebate program, so there is a chance for future options

OK, so is there an easy way (like a list of product categories) to know what is covered under a specific program? Or, do you have to click on each tool / battery and hope for the best?

It's right on Milwaukee's website, click: Support -> E-rebates -> Professional/Retail distributor.

15% off at Zoro. Not a screaming deal but good chance to get those items that aren't on sale/special very often. Ordered a transfer pump and some 12.0 AH forge batteries for work today.

If it's money out of your pocket for work, consider the BOGO deal at other retailers, maybe even Zoro, where you get the 12ah. forge starter kit (rapid charger) + 8ah Forge for $299.
Last week it was $269 or $279 on Special Buy of the Week.

Valid consideration. This was work’s money though. Just needed 4 12.0 batteries for a specific application. $237 a piece seemed reasonable.

I have bought a couple of M18 and a few M12 and none has seemed as good as Milwaukee in terms of power. The M18 aftermarket are much lighter than the same AH Milwaukee

Doh. Be careful its a one time use. I was going to pull the trigger on the packout m18 vacuum, but because I was generous to a family member I now screwed myself.

PO Vac is part of BMSM at HD. Spend $11 more (magnetic trays, or whatever) to hit $199, and save $50. But I'm sure you can find $399 to spend, and save $150.

Just ordered this over at Ace hardware, Seems like a decent price for what it contains...
at the time of this posting $229.00 includes the 2567-20 3/8" ratchet, 2402-20 Screwdriver, qty 2 2.0AH 12 batteries, the charger, canvas bag and a floodlight I was mainly looking to buy the ratchet and a couple of batteries and came across the "deal" at Ace... Hope I'm happy with it.

I sure haven’t been impressed with mine. Tell ya what I have been impressed with is the orbital sander.
I haver the orbital and very happy with it.
Thats not good news on the belt sander guess I can always return it if need be.
I am not a serious wood worker so maybe it will be ok.

The updated orbital sander is a nice improvement over the OG especially for dust collection, but the OG also works well.
