like me, he doesn't understand why hd doesn't just move them to other stores rather than cut the price so aggressively.

Home depot have no mechanism to store-to-store transfers. Their options are return to manufacturer, or clearance it. They do the same thing when someone returns an item (Even a perfectly salable one) to a different store that doesn't stock it. It's a lot of work to deal with the logistics of it, and they have decided it's more sensible to do this.

Too good to be true? Lets find out....
Order placed. $70 with free shipping for a 2767-20. It is shipped from Canada. I certainly hope the paypal guarantee works if this is a scam. Seller has very low feedback, and last one was from over a year ago.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Milwaukee-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I cancelled the ebay order the other day through Toolup. After I posted I realized I bought the wrong damned impact. :lol_hitti Milwaukee confuses the **** out of me with so many models of 1/2" impacts.

EDIT: This morning when I hit BIN, there were 4 sold. Now 7 have been sold. With more than 10 available. Either someone held up the Milwaukee delivery truck, or someone got their eBay account hacked.

At that price, I had to try it. Its now at 11 sold, more than 10 available.

I don't get why the price is listed in CA money? Its the US version of ebay and the seller is listed to be in the US (Sterling Heights, United States)?

I know a lot of Canadians have shipping addresses just across the boarder to avoid all the customs hassles. He probably drives across and ships.

Almost definitely too good to be true, I'll still give it a shot though!

Hell I tried it.. can always go through the long process of getting my money back (hopefully) if it fails. This site gives me grey hairs I swear.

I bought one also. Protected by PayPal. Maybe the guy hijacked a truck or the Chinese are counterfeiting them. I can’t justify the price any other way. I don’t see Milwaukee clearing these out for a Gen III yet since they just came out.

If I'm out the money it's my fault, PayPal does a pretty good job keeping people from accessing your account, so at absolute worst I'm out 70 bucks. I've only used the PayPal claim once about 11 years ago on a 400 purchase. Some kid thought he would rip me off on a cylinder head. He literally called me crying after PayPal took the money back out of his account (which he apparently already spent) because he was using his parents eBay account, so he was negative 400 bucks and an overdraft fee. I just told him he better hope his dad was a lot cooler than mine was and hung up

Hell, for that price I'll take a stab too. I'm gonna use a credit card through paypal so I have two options to stop payment if it's bunk.

My Amex went through with PayPal. Might be an issue with your card.

When I tried it said something along the lines of "Seller not accepting credit card purchases" The PayPal site wouldn't even let me select that option. Hmmmm.....Maybe he's stepping up his scam game. :bounce:

I just used my bank account and credit card back up like normal. The way i figure, PayPal is responsible for the security. They're pretty safe

I would be amazed if they shipped anything. This is probably a hacked account (to get around the mandatory hold on new accounts). They will take the money and run.

I fear this might be a scenario, where the seller issues a tracking number and sends you a box similar to the weight of the item. There for in Paypal it shows as shipped and received, thus making it more difficult to dispute.

Scam. Just did online chat with ebay. It's been pulled and all refunds are going out.

I simply went to my PP account and clicked on "Cancel payment"

Me too. I think the scam was stopped before more money could be taken.

Yup, just got this from ebay...

You were recently involved in a transaction for the following item:
263546843711 - Milwaukee 2767-20 M18 FUEL 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring

We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have accessed the seller’s account to list this item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled. We ask that you take the following precautions:

I went to Paypal and canceled the transaction. No big deal. I wasn't holding my breath but with ebay, paypal and my CC's protections in place, it was worth a shot IMO

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-0Ah-Battery-2799-22CXPO-48-11-1850/303829946

$269 for:
Compact Brushless Hammer Drill/Driver (2702-20)
1/4 in. Hex Brushless Impact Driver (2750-20).
M18 XC Extended Capacity Battery Pack 5.0Ah (48-11-1850)
M18 4.0
M18 2.0
Single charger
Jobsite Cooler lol

Can anyone give me some insight on this this deal? Is it a good price?

I don't need the charger but my batteries are around 7 years old and have been used around the house (I believe they are M18 4.0s), so new ones wouldn't be a bad idea. I'd like to replace my traditional hammer drill and add the impact to my collection.

I got my fuel impact drill combo with 2x 5.0 batteries for $270 shipped with one of the ebay deals about a year ago. I would say it's not that great of a deal unless you want the cooler.

Go buy it in store w/ the 'free' 5ah battery, then return the battery and the price will be ~$180 for the kit. then contact me about the cooler, as I was supposed to get one but got hosed on it. Then it's a good deal

any of you still pending a refund from paypal? got the email, they cancelled it, checked my bank account and it wasn't withdrawn yet. so i hopped on paypal and hit cancel just to be safe. now the money is withdrawn from my account but i have a return pending.. am i the only one in that scenario? does that usually take a couple days to refund?

Nope, mine shows "refund" complete although mine was really more of a cancellation then refund.

I purposely didn't let PP take the money from my bank account just in case this was a scam and they never charged my CC.
