That’s not a great deal. We just got one from Acme tools on Presidents’ Day for $429 to the door with a free 9.0 battery. (And I think we could have gotten the impact gun instead of the battery)

Yeah, the regular m12 hackzall is super underwhelming. Even cuts through PVC slow. Get the fuel m12 or m18.

Have you compared the brushed m18 vs the Fuel M18? I have the brushed version and have been thinking about trading to the fuel.

No, I haven't. I have the brushed and am happy with it for my needs (installing pool equipment.). Although, they didn't have the Fuel version when I bought mine, and If I were buying today I would always go brushless.

Thank you for that! I had just received my M18 5.0 battery I ordered this week and was looking at another one for $63 anyway. Added another small item I wanted plus the code and basically got the other item for free. Can't beat that.

Thanks. I also most posted it's own thread (based of you), but someone beat me to it. I probably wouldn't have seen had you not posted in the Milwaukee thread.

Grabbed a M12 3.0 compact battery for ~$37 after it's part of the discount, and something else to get me to $75. Hven't seen these buggers get discounted too much, or even offered for that matter.

I think you were the one asking about battery deals. As I was looking at batteries, I remembered someone asking about pricing/deals, but couldn't find (didn't help i was in movie). Hopefully it was you. Not sure how you searched for your battery (i use the actual model, like 48-11-1850 for 5ah), but I did get a few results that were asking $57 shipped for one that are genuine. Obviously doesn't help now, but in the future try different keyword combinations (and mis spellings sometimes) if you haven't already

How does the 2nd gen 1400 ft-lbf impact kit 2767-22 (tool, 2) 5AH batteries, charger & case) for $350 sound?

It's a $100 trade in deal where you bring in any 14.4v or higher tool + 2 batteries and get $100 off. I have a 20 year old Makita 14.4v drill, batteries, etc to trade in so would get the 2767-22 for $350+tax.

Amazing deal?
Typical deal?
Bad deal?

I don't really need the batteries/charger/case and you can get the bare tool for ~$230 so I'd be paying ~$120 for 2) 5.0's, a charger and a case if you look at it that way.

Maybe I just answered my own question :)...

I'd probably go with typical. If you need 2 batteries (and a hard case), then it's an ok way to go. If you waited things out & used coupons, you could have got 5.0s for under $50 shipped on eBay today (not always a guarantee). Figure in the tool for $230 at most, then it's sort of a wash (figuring charger/case). I'm waiting for this tool (or OneKey model) until I can get for at least $50 off.

Picked up the 2130-20 rocket light with battery and charger at Rural King for $169.

excellent deal. i have seen it for about 160$ bare tool. a battery and charger are easily worth 9$

we lost power at 13:15 friday, and didnt get it back until 0:20 this morning (sunday). it was OK during the day, but my wife liked being able to work on her puzzle both evenings, and have family dinner on saturday using the light. probably 6 or 8 hours of total use, on high, still two bars left on the 9AH battery.

Picked up another 2135-20 Rover for $200 last night.

And the 2130-20 Rover right next to it is still priced at 200. Any ideas why they clearanced the new one?

It has taken 3 months to go from a closeout of $288 to $200. Hopefully we will see it go lower.

I will have to look at the local stores, that is a great deal for sure and I would probably buy two at that price.

damn...that's a lot of $$$ for a light for the average guy. Unless youre construction guy and need it or got money to burn. I would rather spend $$ on a good headlamp then that cool factor light.

while i can understand your opinion, a light like that is great for lighting the kitchen when the power goes out, or lighting up a tractor you are trying to fix in the middle of a field.

while the head lamp is a great thing ( i have several), there are times you need the area lit so you can see what you are doing . . . .

certainly most of us dont need several, having one is actually a reasonable idea . . .

I love my light when I’m painting a room. Especially when I remove the light in the room.

It is a battery operated light, a corded light, and a battery charger. My headlamps are great to take a leak without tripping, but for actual work those type of lights rule. I have the older version and it has been very useful.

I have one and it is amazing. I use it to light up my engine bay while working in the garage. It is A LOT of light? Yes, but that is what you need when working in a engine bay.

We also use it outside in the pit during race night. I have two 9AH batteries for it although we never use more than one. Everyone else is running generators with those hot *** halogen lights. Everyone keep asking me about it.

If you were wanting to get one I'd go ahead and get one now.

Yea, stopped by my HD last night to get some metal blades for the Sawzall and saw the empty slot for the light at $200. Would of been nice to grab it, got some projects that it could come in handy

Thanks!
That might be the ticket if I cant find the 2135 at the other local HD

2130 is 199$ at HD right now. for the same price, a charger and a 5AH battery is a much better deal.

the 2135 was 399$, which seemed like a lot.in an unusual bit of good luck, i scored one of the 199$ 2135's today. i rarely find those deals. when i came across it, i couldn't help myself.
