A bunch of lights are on sale with a "free" 5.0 battery and charger. Return the battery for a the prorate deal:

The 2500 lumen 2nd gen stand light is on the list. I'm probably going to try and pick one of those up.
Does anyone know the % back you recieve with the 2500 Lumen with kit when returning the battery kit?
i meant to post this and forgot. if you are interested in one of those M12 flashlight/knife combos, CPO has them on special for 80$. both on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/282241415392
and the cpo website:
https://www.cpooutlets.com/milwauke...ne-pocket-knife/miln2355-20kn,default,pd.html
spend 150$ on the web site (order two!) and get an additional 20$ off.
CPO also has $30 off $120 with code “MIL30”.
Won't be getting warranty (if I'm not mistaken), when buying from third-party (unauthorized parties)
As long as it's a legit Milwaukee product and not a knock-off you are mistaken.
People have this belief you have to send in a receipt with warranty claims and that is not true. I've done numerous claims and ONLY include a receipt if it's past 5 years from the date of manufacture (easily decoded from the serial # and/or heat stamps) but date of purchase is less than 5 years ago.
IOW all a receipt gains you is the difference in time between manufacture date and purchase date.
I intentionally DON'T include a receipt if the tool was built within the past 5 years - I figure no reason to confuse them or give them excuses to deny a claim. All they need to know is 1) it's their product and 2) it was built within the past 5 years per the serial#. Done. KISS
edit: yes, yes batteries are 2 or 3 years
I did the same. Who can’t use a few extra #2 Phillips bits? Thanks for the tip!
I added some 32 cent filler items to get to 4 items total.
The
SR 221 Pre-Filter
I just did the Acme deal a little while ago for the new 3/8" stubby impact and a few cheap bits.
^^^^note that while HD appears to be listing the M12 flashlight 2355-21 kit at $99 today Toolup still has at $79, BUT you'll have a bigger hurdle to clear for free shipping at Toolup

Can be had with the 2.0AH battery instead of the 1.5AH, but minus the charger for $20 less ($79). I figure most of us have plenty of chargers.

I'm thinking about these "Special Buys" at HD that apparently end in a few hours(?)
I only have M12 non-fuel stuff so far, (stubby Fuel 3/8 preordered as well) .
I don't follow the deals like you guys. Tell me if these are viable deals or easily bested elsewhere?

finally pulled the trigger on the rocket light/starter kit combo at Home Depot today.
get home tonight to see how bright it really is, open the box, and find that some ******* took the new model and put a used, dirty older model in the box and returned it. Now i'm getting up at 6am to go get a new one

Acme has the same deal, but with a 15% off coupon if you get some 50 cent filler items. Free shipping and no tax.

To get 15%, aren't we supposed to buy at least four items, then be able to get that discount? If we add three 50 cent items, and a bare tool, that's eligible for 15% off? If so, that's a good deal for retailer which hasn't inflated their prices.![]()
