finally tested out the milwaukee compressor i picked up on the last Acme sale. That thing is sloooooooooooooooooow. But lets me take a few swigs of my beer during airups. also nice not to have to drag around a hose.

I just used it to inflate my tires from 50 to 65 psi and you're right. It was very slow. The compressor go so hot I could smell hot rubber after the second tire. Infact it actually over heated on the fourth tire and had a thermometer icon flashing. It went through a entire 6ah battery in the process. I think knot has it's limits, but it sure beats starting up a compressor for small tasks.
Interesting. Used mine to air up from 28psi to 35 on all 4 tires. Used a 4.0 battery and it used only one bar for all 4 tires. Did it pretty quick too.
It also has a duty cycle and can’t be run continously for too long like a larger compressor can. I like mine for what it is. Prevents me from having to fill the compressor and drag outa hose just to top off the tires.
My thoughts exactly. I gave all my air tools to my father and the only use for my 40 gal compressor was to fill up tires. It was a huge waste, not to mention the time it took to wait for the compressor to get up to pressure. For just filling tires, the combination of portability and ease of use it can't be beat.
It gets increasingly more difficult to build pressure as the pressure increases. This is why it's perfectly suited for typical passenger tires but struggles with the higher pressures.
And this why I've said 100 times Milwaukee aims for the TRADES market. Those guys (and that's me) drive TRUCKS. 285/70/17 and 285/70/18 in my case.
And we run LOAD RANGE E
We need at least 65 psi out of an inflator.
Maybe Milwaukee should make a super inflator marketed w the 12.0, just like the huge circular saw and chainsaw. I'd still buy it, almost regardless of price.
I don't know many tradesmen and contractors running around on "passenger car tires."

Frustratingly its now out of stock online again... anyone know if there are other retailers doing the same deal still?
Yes they are, you just have to find a store with a battery and a grinder in stock and go buy them together.
Anyone have a chance to buy & use the 8 1/4" table saw (2736-21HD)? Just wondering on how the performance is and if you bought at HD with the bonus battery if you returned the second battery without any issues?
I don't use a table saw all that often, but when I do I really need to use the table! lol
It's here! Get the chainsaw get a second 12ah batt free

Is this M12 portable bandsaw a good deal?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...12-2-0Ah-Battery-2429-20-48-11-2420/306636281
I usually cut smaller diameter sized piping
Also, CPO is offering the M18 type for $275 with free 5.0Ah battery,

What's better? M12 or M18 portable band saw?
I'm sort of in the same boat, but when I do get mine it will be the M18 Fuel. For the most part, it's going to be stationary and not lugged around. I'm going to get a ton more use out of it by buying a table base to use it as a traditional band saw. The the base is really what got me even contemplating a band-saw. I think it is Swag products that makes them. I also prefer getting a brushless motor when possible, but I either would be capable of cutting whatever your throw at it.
I was going to buy the Ryobi 9" Standing Bandsaw, but seeing the limited space I already have, the Milwaukee Fuel M18 Bandsaw is locked in for this holiday season

I didn't know that the M12 was "not" a Fuel brushless type.
M18 it is then. I don't have much floor space, and I wouldn't always be using a bandsaw as a typical bandsaw. I'd use it more for conduit. However, its good to see conversion options to make it into a standing band saw for small-scale woodworking projects.

Now the questions, who has the best deal? Should I wait 'till Black Friday, or is the CPO deal good enough?
Home Depot had it with the free battery for $299 ($25 more than CPO earlier this month)

This is tempting. I rarely use my little gas one, but this seems like too good to pass up.

I've just been borrowing one, so that tells me how infrequent I need it. I'm heavily invested in the Milwaukee M12 & M18 stuff, so I just couldn't refuse the offer. Now to find the accessories like a hard case, sharpening file, wedges, etc.

Yeah, it's long for the bar length compared to gas saws. It's not heavy to me but I move heavy stuff around job sites alot.Be warned, I went to Home Despot, picked up the M18 chainsaw with a 12AH battery on it, and all I could think was #$@*! this thing is long, wide and heavy. I hate 2 cycle more than the next guy, but.... dang.

I actually like 2 cycle stuff but this was a good deal w/ 1 battery for $300.
The 12ah battery is awesome too. (Only a slight regret not just getting a 2battery kit for $430)
No gas, just some bar oil. This will be great to have in a truck during winter to cut up small fallen trees at a moments notice.
I've heard that the 9ah is fine for smaller cuts also.
