I have a 2755-20 1/2" Milwaukee Fuel Impact that I've used for 2 years. It's great.

"Tools N Stuff " seller on Amazon has the beefier:

Bare-Tool Milwaukee 2663-20 18-Volt M18 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (Tool Only, No Battery)
for $102.49

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002AKKJBS/?tag=atomicindus08-20

That is the best price I have seen on that.

P.S. I dont think this is a Brushless motor but still a great price.

I refuse to pay the new higher prices. EVERYONE should. The prices will come down, if no one is buying.

I see that also works for 2555-20 from "Factory Authorized Outlet" ebay store. Are they any good, and are their claims of full factory warranty true?

Edit: screw it, good reviews and it is listed on Milwaukee dealer list (not sure whether ebay stores count too). Bought it.

3/8 stubby vs the 1/2?

It seems like everyone wants the 3/8 is that a more useful size?

(I have only ever really used 1/2 air impacts which are generally awesome)

It's 100% personal preference and circumstantial. I already had Astro Nano sockets in 1/2" dr so a stubby in 1/2 made WAY more sense for me.

Plus this is - AFAIK - THE most powerful M12 impact wrench, so if you're only into M12 and want a general purpose impact wrench I'd go 1/2" and get a nice selection of 1/2" impact sockets as 1/2 is still the standard for *most* impact work.

I did exactly this for a friend who just lost everything in a house fire - got him into M12 and the 1/2" stubby with a full assortment of impact sockets. With this he can do most automotive on his Jeep and still have common, readily available 1/2" impact sockets

That hard case is arguably worth more than $15 if you want one. Many toss them, but when you do want one, they aren't cheap to buy anywhere (shipping usually kills it if it is a good price).

This. But I always throw mine away because shipping is just a PITA and members rarely want to pay it, even when I'm giving the cases away for free.

I used to pry the metal latches off and scrap 'em (I scrap every shred of metal in my shop or from my house) but now they've managed to even make the new latches mostly plastic (kinda like the GM MPV mini-vans in the '90s: Mostly Plastic Van). Wait, what was I talking about??

Hmm... says code "PICKFAST" is expired when just went to use it on 2557-20 3/8 m12 ratchet from CPO. Is that because I've used it already, or did it expire earlier today?

Also, what's a good deal on the 2557-20? $120 (140 - 15%) seemed alright comparing it to full price at the places.

It was a one time use coupon that expired 22mins ago.

I'm sorry if this was mentioned already but Ohio Power Tool has the 2730-21 for $199. I finally caved and ordered one for me and a second for my non-profit. The smaller blade is fine by me and the left blade is my preference.

I've been using my V28 but the battery technology just isn't there and Milwaukee refuses to give us the M28 5.0s that other countries get.

I tried looking around thinking others might be matching this but CPO and HD are $100 more. The bare tool on eBay seems to hover around $155, so I guess w something like a 15% sale you might be better off if you don't really need the battery or charger (I don't necessarily)

OPT's site didn't charge me tax either.

I have been a "shade tree" mechanic for over 50 years. I have always used my 3/8" and 1/4" drive sockets and accessories many more times than my 1/2". The only time I use my 1/2" drive stuff is working on suspension components (ball joints, tie rod ends) on my truck.

Ditto, only 25 years here but a majority of what I do (aside from suspension and lug nuts) is 3/8". No need for the extra mass of 1/2" drive for nearly every job in non commercial auto repair work. I think I use my 1/2" drive tools maybe 5% of the time.

I am looking to buy 2nd gen M12 drill driver bare tool (2503-20). Regular price is $119, but on eBay they can be had for ~$68 from few sellers and with 15% coupon that comes down to $57.

This looks like a really good deal, but is there anything I am missing? eBay sellers do look legit.

The 2504-20 is $54 on Amazon; I bought one last week.

This M12 screwdriver kit looks like a deal for $59. It’s the 2401-22 non fuel single speed unit, but with two 1.5 batteries, soft case, and a charger. I figure it’ll be a good screwdriver for automotive interior plastics and light household stuff where an impact driver may strip stuff. I need a couple more small batteries, a pair of 2.0 are $56 on Amazon.

Bought it for the wife to have in the house to do little stuff. She likes it, and the case and charger make it easy to keep tidy in a house cabinet.

:headscrat I'm glad I got the 9ah Sawzall kit when acmetools had 20% off last year. $207 :spit: Although I was dumb enough to spend $60 on a saw case.

Has anyone used the heated jackets/hoodies? I'm a southern California boy and I live in Washington now which is too damn cold for my liking. My heater motorcycle gloves have given me faith in battery powered heated gear so I'm thinking of trying these out.

Anyone looking for a 12.0 Amp Battery can try this one at Home Depot. Buy the new 7 1/4" saw with 12.0 combo at $399 and you get a "Free" 12.0 Battery. The batteries are on sale this weekend for $149. Do the return of the Combo it and keep the "Free" battery. You end up paying only $117 after tax for it. Decent deal.
