Thank you. I kinda thought it was only 1. But they listed a battery twice so that was throwing me off.
Am I understanding this correctly? By reading the notes it comes with two batteries or one?

What's the best place/way to get a deal on some M12 batteries?
I don't mind waiting for a deal, but after picking up a 3rd tool, only having 2 batteries is getting annoying.
Yeah, when I bought he M12 brushless combo last week, the free tool options were 3/8" ratchet, right angle drill, or a 6AH battery. They had no 6AH batteries left, and I figured I could always get a ratchet later. I presented the 2-pack of 3AH batteries at the register. It took some doing and about 20 minutes of the department rep dancing, but eventually they caved and let me take those batteries. One can never have enough batteries
My plan, which has been executed yesterday, was to order a 3/8" ratchet, as part of a kit and get more batteries and chargers. I ordered the ratchet with the hacksaw.
Also, my main purpose was to have smaller, more agile tools, and the 6AH battery doesn't fit that profile, IMO.
I'm also keeping my M12 stuff as 'nimble' as possible, so I'm sticking to the 2.0AH.
If I have a big project that needs more run time, I'll grab my 18V stuff.
The M12 line has been perfect for all the small to medium projects I need to tackle.
After having my brother borrow my inflator enough, I think I'll be grabbing him one.that M12 starter kit with inflator might set a new low price depending on what parts you want. that's pretty awesome
the M12 stapler is ok but Ryobi has a new tool that's better
As of 6/24 two new starter pack deals will be introduced to Home Depot:
$299 M18 starter kit: 9.0 & 5.0 battery with a standard charger will get you free choice of dual power rocket light, fuel Sawzall, 4.5/5” grinder or brushless (non fuel) 7.25 circular
$99 m12 starter kit: 3.0 & 1.5 with standard Charger gets you choice of free stapler, rover floodlight, compact inflator or multi tool
Where are you seeing this? Thanks

I hate the inflated price of the starter kits for these deals... but once the “free” tool is calculated some can be pretty good deals.
Are the charger kits then returnable? As of 6/24 two new starter pack deals will be introduced to Home Depot:

I have 2 of the grinders and use them daily in my shop. Not as much power or rpm as the dewalt 11amp models but still plenty to run a cutoff wheel or flap disc. 5.0 battery and I can go for quite a while on them.

Good question...I just bought the Ryobi 18V crown stapler for $44 after returning the battery kit. I'm guessing the Milwaukee is a higher-quality stapler though - can anyone confirm? I feel like the Ryobi 18V line is great for their "gadgets" that few others make, but not the best choice for durable tools. I've noticed that they do not appear to use any glass fiber in their shell plastics, resulting in a fairly weak shell.
Well, Amazon has them for pretty cheap. $22 shipped for the 2.0 AH. Can't find them any cheaper.

I love a decent deal, but some folks complain about bad batteries from there, etc. Anyone know a confirmed good source for these 12V batteries, aside from HD?
It looks to me like they're pretty similar in design. And the Ryobi has a better feature set. It kind of looks like they launched the Milwaukee, saw what people liked and didn't like and then launched an improved Ryobi.
it's a valid concern, one of Amazon's core businesses now is legitimizing counterfeits through their 3rd party seller program, this goes way beyond batteries. the counterfeiters aren't in the business of using key phrases like "for Milwaukee", they're actually trying to trick you and Amazon is overrun with themThey should be legit. You can also get legit batteries from eBay. Just pay attention and make sure they’re real Milwaukee batteries. The knockoffs should be a different brand and say “for Milwaukee” or something similar. Most of them won’t be in retail packaging. They’re take outs from kits. People buy the kits and then sell the pieces individually.

Is this online and in store or in store only or online only?
Too bad I am driving to the Fargo HD on Friday the 21st. 3+ hours each way plus crossing the border. Cant go back on Monday as I am out west then...sigh
Surge and drillwall gun for 199 is something interesting I think in today's deal.Milwaukee 18 and 12 are HD's deals of the day. I don't care for the carryouts being offered with the brushless kits, but there are some good deals

Can some also confirm that the product selection has changed for them for the special buys? The Surge combo was not available this morning when I looked after 3am, then it was sold out when I saw posts about it being on the SBotD, but now they removed it from even saying it is sold out at the bottom, but now there are Milwaukee work shirts & a hoody?
Would have snapped one of those up in heartbeat had I known what time I should have stayed up until.
You have to make sure you’re looking at the Deal of the Day. Unless I get the email from HD, it’s sometimes a pain to find it.
Is the Deal of the Day somehow different than the special buy of the day? It is rather easy to find with Google:
