Will the 18 volt battery work in my 3 bay m28 charger? I thought it supported 18 volt as well.

Yeah, last year it was $200 on black Friday for the packout set (no tax depending on where you bought it). Pulled the trigger, paid 198 with tax. Got a free hoodie, so that was what put me over the edge.

Thanks for posting this. I was just thinking about how I needed to buy one so I can give my dad his back (he has the older version). I assume this is a bare tool and doesn't come with a case?
I just successfully got HD to honor the Rural King flyer(page 167) in a price match, just fyi. That's the best Packout deal I've seen thus far. A (literal) few dollars cheaper for the full kit than ToolNut's current offer and HD's sale offer...plus you don't have to buy the three-piece kit.
Toolnut's advantage is that you can get it normally or with foam for the $200 price. HD's is normally plastic containers only.
Also Ace has a sale for the 5-compartment small organizer for $20, normally $30.

As I stated in the Addiction thread, make sure Intl Tool is figuring tax correctly -- for me, they were WAY off, like nearly 13% tax rate when I should be either 3 (state) or 5 (state & county)

Very true, but I think they are hitting everyone with it unfortunately. I'm sure your Taxachusetts, as well as Cummuforinia, both would for sure tax as much possible.
Correct, no case on the bare tool. My corded Milwaukee orbital sawzall came in a tool bag when I purchased it in ~2003, so I’ll probably find a tool bag for this one as well rather than a plastic hard case. The only Milwaukee that I keep in the hard case is the soldering iron.
No sales tax from International Tool for me in AZ yet. I’m sure that will change eventually like it did with Zoro last month.

Good to know. I'll see if I can make it fit the case from my dad's M18 (non-Fuel) Sawzall and if so, get one of those cases. I have avoided ever buying a Milwaukee tool that came without a case (or didn't have one available) until now, besides the radio and the various worklights that I have. I like having everything in easily transported, protective cases. Makes storage and transportation quite easy!

I just ordered and they charged me tax on both (Michigan). Total was ~$190 but still a great deal considering the cheapest bare tool I can find anywhere is ~$170 or so.

Yes, BF was a $199 price and local store only had like 5 and when they were gone, they were gone. Couldn't order or find them.

Went to internationaltool to order a high torque. Ended up buying a new axis jacket with the tough shell. Had $20 off applied automatically along with a free hoodie and a free beanie.

All the retailers pretty much have the same promos, and none have that part of any promos. So soonest would be for Q1 next year. Maybe a flash sale, or a 10/15% before then, but won't be a free battery until then.
I was hoping for it too. I've only seen two units stocked at one HD out of 8 or so I have visited. Likely with such a new tool, low stock, and perhaps less demand, you won't see a promo for it soon.

Hmm, was going to pick up the packout stack from the local supply, but I kinda doubt the mom and pop shop will be able to best the $180 shipped with hoodie. Now I'm torn.

Manually. I searched their entire inventory for Milwaukee M18 and Milwaukee M12 and selected 100 items per page. Scroll through looking for any price with a red slash through it then add to cart to see what the deal may be. It took about 30 minutes to go through all of them. I wouldn’t have found the circular saw deal any other way. The other deal I didn’t post was the 15 ga Brad nailer for $229.

That's a great deal, going to buy it when I get home. I unfortunately don't really care for international tool, took me about 3 or 4 months to get a free promo battery on something else I had ordered. There was a backlog of the M12 batteries at some point, but even after they came in stock they where reluctant to ship it. Had to hound them once a week for a solid month before it finally showed up and I was never even given a tracking number haha. I think it was because I used a coupon code and 100+ dollar stack to get an M12 ratchet (ratchet/charger/battery) + free m12 battery for like, 90 dollars shipped. Felt pretty good about that one.

You never watch the full video. Move your mouse along the video progress bar shows a preview. It's easy to identify Milwaukee, Dewalt, etc tools doing that. I also gave a time stamp for a reason.
