Nice collection there.

I'm eyeing this:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...ing-Kit-W-One-5-0Ah-Battery-2767-21/306180606

Not as good as the last deal, but I wish there is something to sweeten it just a tad (i.e. some percent off or something free to add to it).

I'm also not sure if there is anything that has this and an impact driver (m12 or m18)

I'd wait might be something better on it.

That thing is a Beast, I bought the M12 3/8" stubby, the Mid TQ M18, and the Hi TQ like you have here. Got out some scrap large bolts I had laying around and played with all three. The stubby and Mid TQ are awesome. But the bolt destroying/snapping capacity of the High TQ is something to behold. Absolute Beast! :shocking:

got this tip from slickdeals - the 12.0 + 8.0 kit for $199 can be returned either/or if you buy it in store (just grab individual batteries and they'll ring up at $199)

return the 8.0 and the 12.0 is $107.61, best price it's been so far I think

I got two 12.0s for my 36V e-bike, I should get ~30 miles of range depending on pedal effort

milwaukee rep said the deal runs through christmas

Can anyone refresh me on how the returns work again on the free tool/free battery items? HD has some Fuel kits I want, but they come with freebie duplicates of stuff I have, and I hate having to deal with reselling

items are only returnable if they're separate SKUs. if you return something it must be the complete SKU. generally only in store purchases are returnable piecemeal. when you check out, you should see the partial return value on your receipt for each part of a combo deal

combo deals can normally be identified by the red "+" in the image on the website

the return value of the piece is found by adding all the original full prices, then taking the fraction of the total that the piece you're returning was, and multiplying by the total sale price

for example, the 12.0 + 8.0 for $199 deal:

$199 12.0 full price + $169 8.0 full price = 368 original full price

199/368 = .54 fraction of the total for the 12.0

.54 * 199 total sale price = $107 12.0 return value

on the current fuel combo kits that have promos, you can't do much damage in the partial return game because they're set up as complete kits (one SKU) plus some cheap/less desirable add ons (like the vacuum). so you can't return parts of the good kit, it's one SKU. post the kit you're looking at and we can see if that's the case

also there's the problem of some of the fuel combo kits not being stocked in stores. so you'd need to do an online order. there's a trick that's sometimes possible, you can put together a cart online for the things you want, make sure you get the right combo price, and have the thing you're returning be in store and the thing you want be mailed. then you'll get partial return value on the pickup items. that could help you get a full fuel kit and easily return the vacuum

RIP

Went fast, I was lucky and got one.

I got one, too. You could view it as a free tool with 2 batteries or as a tool with 2 free batteries. My M12 6.0 arrived yesterday so I have everything.

Thank you! Yep, the one Fuel set I was looking at was a complete SKU, so I would have to resell the tools I didnt want. Im looking at these 2 and they have them in my store:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Combo-Kit-2-Tool-with-Free-ROVER-Flood-Light-and-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-2997-22-0880-20-2360-20/310749284
This one I would return the Rover light since I also want to buy this:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Rocket-Dual-Power-Tower-Light-with-Free-M18-5-0Ah-Battery-and-Charger-2131-20-48-59-1850/305883641

How would the formula work when theres 2 free tools?
And I can return the 5.0 with the Rocket light using the formula you posted, correct?

ETA: Think I figured it out if you dont mind verifying :)

If I return the Rover on the kit, I'll get $91 back on that bundle
If I return the 5.0 on the Rocket light, I'll get $80 back on the battery

M18 Radius Light 2144-20 dropped from $150 to $89 at International Tool.

How this one vs the M18 Rover light 2360? This one looks like it might be more versatile since it has a hook instead of the keyholes for hanging.

Two different scenarios. The 2360 is one direction flood only. The $149 ($89) radius is an over sized lantern + small directional flood.

Picked up the M12 drain snake kit with bucket from CPO for $144.99 and the 2pk of M18 CP 3.0 for $79.99. Figured the drain snake would pay for itself with preventative maintenance in the house vs 1 call to a plumber if/when we get an issue. Have a 2pk of the CP 3.0 from HD for $99 but going to return them now

Hd has 2 XC 3.0 for 79, you can buy two for 160. Doesn’t seem like such an amazing deal to ke

Sent from my iPhone using Garage Journal

Or buy two 6s with fuel hackzalls at home Depot. Then return the hackzalls. Should be $60-65 a battery. Rather have those than not the largest capacity in it's respective form factor

Thanks. No deal on the die grinder (bare) as it's pre-order.

Anyone know of a deal on one of those?....seem to be in short supply out there.

Same thing happened last time. Wouldn't work on the die grinder since it said pre-order but was in stock. Then they extended the sale for an extra day & when I checked back they had fixed it. So I ordered the bare tool along with the boot with $25 off. Boot was said not to be due in until Feb.

Edit: Oh just checked, looks like they are out of stock this time

Anyone find any good deals on any of the M18 Fuel Angle Grinders? Both the 4.5/5" and the newer 7/9"? Either bare tool or combo, or whatever other mix is available.

GForce: No! I can't find <139 on the 4" grinder anywhere, and I've been looking! Maybe soon...

Home Depot Black Friday went live earlier today, picked up the $149 M12 2.0s and 4.0s pack and the $199 Five piece ratchet, drill, impact, light, and saw kit for the house.

Got another five piece kit for the service truck, my company bought that though.

Hello guys

Has anyone ever ordered from Red Tool Store ?

They've got some good looking deals going. I'm tempted, but, not positive that they're legit.

What size blades will fit.Like what an electric saxzaw will take?
Thinking about trimming some palm trees with it.lol
It works great with wood blades.Arm pump with pruning blade. Definitely a learning curve.Cant wait to use it on other stuff as intended.
At $117 what a deal with extra battery.
