I was just at Fasteners Inc last month. The inside of the store is not nearly as exciting as impressive as you'd imagine, but they definitely are legit.

My impression of the Black Friday deals that started today (the 28th) is that the sellers are (so far) using BF to clear out stock that is not moving, or not as desirable. I'm not seeing the "15% off anything" sales that I saw on other holidays; the deals are more targeted to specific, typically older, tools.

Take the HD sale for example, which looks to be mostly tools have been around for awhile. I think I saw only two FUEL products at the HD BF page, both of them the same nailer in different package configurations.

I mentioned this to my wife, who told me she'd recently read an article that echo'd that, but for clothes: that BF is the day for retailers to get rid of old stock. Dunno. I could be wrong. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

cpooutlets.com has a free M18 starter kit with a charger and 3.0 XC battery with purchase of select bare tools. I picked up the M18 fan for 75 bucks plus tax, shipping was free.

I'm looking for this... which starter kit did you select?

Toolup.com has m12 6.0 batteries for 50 bucks today. Only annoying thing is free shipping is 200+ so I paid about 60 for each battery including shipping and tax

Wondering the best price right now on the m18 oscillating multi tool(tool only). Rural King has it for $80 or is it cheaper to get it from home depot by buying one of the kits that you get a free tool and return everything besides the free tool. Thanks

This has to be the worst Black Friday deals I’ve seen in a long time!

Agreed. Not much at all. Only thing i bought was the yearly Rigid stand for $99. I guess, i am saving money this year, by not spending it. LOL

Agreed. I haven't really seen anything this year that's made me go "wow that's cheap, I gotta get that" all these deals I've seen have been ok at best

Anybody see any deals on the mid torque impact? I’d like to get one for my brother for Christmas. I’m looking for the M12 die grinder and underhood light for me.

It's not pretty.

HD BF page uninspring, most "sales" force you to buy yet ANOTHER charger…

Acme and CPO playing it close to the hole, commonly found prices marked as "sale," no sitewide discounts, and several prices going UP instead of down for BF…

RuralKing has the only sitewide I've seen, 10% off, but website crashes…better sitewides seen on Veteran's day (and regret I waited for BF)...

Amazon decent, though.

.

RuralKing had already discounted some of the packout stuff, so 10% off that would be a pretty good.

Update: milwaukee stuff is excluded on their 10%

I think older tool and non-brushless/FUEL, but is this a decent compact driver deal, or should I not even bother?

Milwaukee 2401-22 M12 Lithium-Ion Sub-Compact Screwdriver Kit with 2 Batteries

$59

https://www.cpooutlets.com/milwaukee-2401-22-m12-lithium-ion-sub-compact-screwdriver-kit-with-2-batteries/miln2401-22.html

I have this screwdriver and really like it. It doesn’t strip fasteners like the impact drivers do and the clutch mechanism is good. It’s a no brainer at that price with 2 batteries. Home Depot has the same kit at the same price.

If you want to go gentle with the fasteners, and not use an impact, why not just use the clutch on a drill driver? I have a screwdriver (a Hitachi 12V) and I can never figure out when I might want to use it. It's the least used tool of my battery tools...as in...once, just to test it. Regards the deal above, buy it for the batteries.

Yep. This is my anti-carple tunnel tool. When you're spinning screws or nuts to remove/replace panels on equipment, this is perfect. I've been using one of these for HVACR work for years. Just picked up two at HD this morning.

The dedicated screwdriver has lower torque and the clutch settings seem finer in my usage. I use it on automotive interior screws frequently, but it also has little issue driving 2.5” drywall screws. Also, my other drill and impact drivers are all M18, so this small M12 driver is nice.

My most used tool on RC trucks is the excellent Dewalt DCF680 gyro screwdriver. It doesn’t strip 2-3mm fasteners in plastic, not something I’d want to try with a clutched drill driver.

Thanks.....went ahead and ordered from CPO. Smaller compliment to the M18 impact I have and gives me two small M12 batteries for light work.

I believe it is this stand:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-...w-Stand-with-Mounting-Braces-AC9946/206992161

Please don't kill me guys, I know this isn't a Milwaukee deal but I'll make it relate =)

I have the Milwaukee M18 table saw, will this stand work for it or am I wasting my time?

I read through the comments/questions (hint: search 'Milwaukee' in the search box further down the product page) and someone did mention they mounted a Milwaukee 12" slider without issues.

Not all of it is excluded. I ordered a Gen 2 blower and got the 10% discount.

Because simply the screwdriver is a smaller and lighter tool and the best feature is the 1/4" collet for quick bit changes. Sure a drill with clutch will work.

I have the original 2402 gosh that must have come out at least 7-8 years ago (this newer model is an cosmetic upgrade though about the same performance) and I also have the FUEL screwdriver too. Worlds of difference between the two really. The old 2402 is like the perfect bench assembly tool IMO and mines pretty dedicated to the work table

The FUEL unit on the other hand is every as powerful as the FUEL drill its actually the same body and motor but overall shorter without the ratcheting drill chuck So with those major features I already mentioned oh man can it ever drive screws!

I bring THAT one to work

Overall I’m disappointed, probably the tariffs hitting the imports hard. I’m wondering if Cyber Monday might be any better. The only two deals I’m considering are the M12 Stubby 3/8” from Tool Up, but their tax and shipping gets it back up to $139 shipped.

https://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2554-20-M12-FUEL-Stubby-3-8-Impact-Wrench

The other is the M12 die grinder also from Toolup. Tax and shipping puts it at $149 shipped.
