Looks like the 12.0Ah is $219, 8.0Ah is $199.
Add up:
(original price of "must buy" item) + (original price of "free" item) = (big number)
Now find the ratio or percentage:
(original price of "must buy" item) / (big number) = (ratio)
Return value for each is:
(ratio) x (original price of "must buy" item)
(ratio) x (original price of "free" item)
If the promo is buy 8.0Ah battery get ... free then the calc is:
199 + 219 = 418
199 / 418 = 0.4761
0.4761 x 199 = $94.74 for the 8.0Ah return value
0.4761 x 219 = $104.27 for the 12.0Ah
If the promo is buy ... get 8.0Ah battery free then the calc is:
219 + 199 = 418
199 / 418 = 0.5239
0.5239 x 199 = $104.26 for the 8.0Ah return value
0.5239 x 219 = $114.73 for the 12.0Ah
Thanks for typing it out for me! ~$115 isn't bad for the 12.0. I mean, $219 isn't either, though Grainger had the pair for $209 for a while until a day or two ago. Really want to try a 12.0 out (have all the other sizes) but hard to justify when I have so many batteries already. Would be nice for the leaf blower/yard tools though!
