You will not regret the m12 pin nailer. Quick, powerful and is compact.I have the Ryobi pin nailer and it is indeed very handy. But the large 18V stem-style battery is not well suited for this type of tool, and I'm considering buying the Milwaukee M12. But $200 for the bare tool is much too expensive IMO.
Just in case you are interested in the Ryobi model, it is available for $112 (3-year warranty) or $83 (1-year/refurb):

It's not live in store yet, thats why it isn't up. Online promo's often start & end on different dates.Home Depot is doing the “Buy More Save More” promo on certain Milwaukee stuff again. $299 gets $30 off, $399 gets $80 off, and $499 gets $150 off. I needed a 3/8” stubby impact this week, and noticed the promo on the HD product page when I checked to see if there were any sales. I scored the 3/8” stubby impact and 3/8” high speed ratchet for $127 each (after doing the “hack” with an M18 hackzall to put me over the $500 mark). Of course there was no signage at all in the store when I went to pick it up. Home Depot is terrible at advertising these promos…
Wish they would just make it easier and give us 30% off.Home Depot is doing the “Buy More Save More” promo on certain Milwaukee stuff again. $299 gets $30 off, $399 gets $80 off, and $499 gets $150 off. Just online order, set the tool you want for local store pickup and the 2 you don't ship to your house. Then as soon as the order goes through, cancel the ones you ordered ship to home. Easy peasy.Wish they would just make it easier and give us 30% off.
I want to get the m12 Surge and M18 circular saw which is $179 and $269 so $51 short.
To maximize the 30% discount I have to order twice and return 1/3 to 1/2 of the stuff which makes me feel sorry for the home depot employees pulling the inventory and putting it back.
The m12 surge + drill +drywall screwdriver = $507, then return drill and drywall screwdriver
To get the circular saw + drill bits + hackzall = $528, then return drill bits and hackzall.
Are there some items out there that I am missing?
Thanks this worked. Last time around I couldn't cancel specific items without canceling the entire order.Just online order, set the tool you want for local store pickup and the 2 you don't ship to your house. Looks like its only limited to 16 tools. Most of which don't have batteries.I got a friend looking to switch from yellow to red. This might be the perfect time to do it. Is there a good starter kit available with the buy more save more deal?
Also I'm wishing the lawn mower was available for preorder with this...
This is as good as I could get it. There is a M18 drill kit available.I didn't look at the buy more save more stuff yet so I was hoping one of those 5 tool sets with 2x batteries would be in there. I'll probably cruise through the listing later tonight to see if there is anything I want but don't have yet.
Ace tends to inflate some of their Milwaukee prices and then they have a sale.Looks like Ace Hardware is also doing the same "buy more save more" event, but they have 24 qualifying items:

The banner doesn't mention $150 off $499, but the "details" link does.
Mid-torque is up $10 to $249 at HDAce tends to inflate some of their Milwaukee prices and then they have a sale.
Theres more than 16 items that qualify, theres some bugs, was there a BMSM that ends today and a new one that starts tomorrow....Here’s the 16 qualifying items at HD:

I just got one last week. Love it. Good suction, all self contained (tools hose etc)How does that new little M12 fuel vac compare to the older M18 one? I'm thinking of leaving the M18 for the garage and outdoors and grabbing the M12 one for indoor use only.
I want to get the drywall screw gun as well as the rear handle circ saw. Am I better off returning 2 items twice or just buying the saw and the screw gun on the same order and returning the twist drills?
The BMSM promos were taken mostly offline Monday I think because of the double discount bug and weren't fully back until this afternoon.I've been trying to buy the 2730 circular saw since this morning, but the discount wouldn't apply, despite the product listing confirming it was one of the qualifying tools. I just checked my cart and now the discount shows up... They've really fubar'd this promo rollout!
The price on this seems to vary depending on what local store you choose on HD.com. Sometimes HD.com will default back to a store in Georgia. This happened while I was looking at this tool and the price went back to the $199 price. I switched back to my local store on HD.com and it went back to the $119 price.M12 3" cutoff full kit for 119, local pickup only:

Why do you think it won't work? It's not rocket science. No one distributes it, it's obviously home made.@ren71 If you saw it on FB, it must work! Any idea who distributes these?![]()
